Dreaming of the Red Chamber: Who Will Bury the Golden Girls?

Of all the women in Dream of the Red Chamber, Tanchun is my favorite. I’ve always wanted to write a story about her. But when I put pen to paper, somehow I ended up writing about Xue Baochai instead! Maybe I’ve read too many stories praising Xue Baochai. Sometimes I also feel she’s been treated unfairly. Thinking about it, she was only a pitiful woman who couldn’t control her own fate. Why insist on putting her down? I wanted to change her fate for once, so I followed my heart and wrote this story! There may be many shortcomings, but I’ll correct them gradually! Fang Qing, a modern woman, unexpectedly finds her soul transported to the world of Dream of the Red Chamber, where she becomes Xue Baochai, one of the Twelve Beauties of Jinling. What will become of her? Will she follow the fate already laid out for her, or defy everything and seize her own happiness? I really don’t know how to write a blurb, so I’ll leave it at that for now. I’ll revise it when I come up with something better.
