The Beloved Daughter of Doctor Hao

An anesthetic accident no one wanted to see changed the lives of two children. He, Ma Jiawei, was supposed to be the son of a surgeon in a big city, but instead became a poor child in a mountain village, an outsider in the eyes of city folk! She, Hao Beibei, was supposed to be a baby girl abandoned by her parents, but instead became the precious daughter of a city surgeon, carefully cherished by her parents. Fate works in mysterious ways. The two children met in fifth grade and became desk mates. They fell for each other at an early age, and from then on, they only had eyes for each other. A moment showing Dr. Hao spoiling his daughter: “Dr. Hao, your daughter Beibei got 90 in Chinese. That's third from the bottom in her class. The class average was 97,” Hao Beibei's elementary school teacher said. “Really? Doesn't that mean my Beibei did excellently?” Dr. Hao asked happily. “...” The teacher held her forehead. There was no reasoning with this parent. A moment showing Hao Beibei's mother spoiling her daughter: “Hao Beibei is dating!” her middle school teacher said. “Really? Who does my daughter like?” Hao Beibei's mother asked excitedly. “She likes that student from out of town, Ma Jiawei!” the teacher continued. “What does Ma Jiawei think of her?” Hao Beibei's mother eagerly pressed. “...” The teacher was at a loss for words. Good grief! What kind of parent was this? How were teachers supposed to cope?
