*My next novel is How to Handle Too Many Secret Identities. See the blurb at the end, and please add it to your reading list~
[Gentle, fragile white moonlight on the surface, secretly chuunibyou for years]
[Superpowers + a touch of ensemble cast + no-brainer fun + everyone reads too much into things + protagonist-centered]
Ling Che is a cannon-fodder character in a hot-blooded superpower manga, fated to die early as a sacrifice.
The System reassured him: [Don't worry! We've already given you an incredibly powerful golden finger! Just make sure you survive to the end!]
Newly minted cannon fodder, super-B king Ling Che, obediently replied, "Sure thing."
Meanwhile, he secretly decided to give himself a few extra scenes.
After happily telling the male lead, "Long time no see," and accurately calling out his name,
he decided to step back and become a brainy character who looked incredibly impressive!
But after a while, he realized
that there was something off about this protagonist group!
The original script: Don't underestimate the bond between us!
The reality:
The former male lead raised a gun one-handed, striking a cool pose. "I won't let you hurt my family!"
Ling Che quietly reminded him from behind: "...You're holding the gun backward, bro, and the safety's still on."
The gentle heroine fought to the bitter end. "Kill me, or you'll all die."
Ling Che silently handed her a handkerchief. "Sis, wipe the blood off your mouth. It's ruining your look. Also, you're breaking character."
The cool, fatherly guy sobbed, "If giving my life can bring my comrade back..."
Ling Che looked at him helplessly. "Dude, stop crying. If you don't let go soon, he's really going to die."
The masked, broke brother who had seen through the secrets of heaven swaggered as he flung out a talisman. "Hah? What do you think was the first move I learned?"
The tsundere young master, who only knew how to flash his black card, blushed. "Don't get the wrong idea. I just don't want to go back and sort everyone into classes again."
The girl with a split personality murmured as she gripped a butcher's knife. "Then please, go die."
Ling Che had planned to lie low and stay alive, but his teammates' performances kept getting wilder and wilder.
Then, after the seemingly fragile Ling Che punched the villain straight through a wall, he turned around and met his teammates' sparkling eyes.
Ling Che: "...If I say this is a passive skill I unlocked, will you believe me?"
Forum: [What's with that Ling Che? He keeps saying he's afraid to die, but he treats the BOSS like a fun pastime?!]
[Ling Che really is a villain!]
[Haven't watched in ages. Wasn't Ling Che supposed to be the brains of the group?]
[Help! They don't need a hot-blooded manga script. They need reservations at a psychiatric hospital!]
[Can somebody do something about these guys?!]
Ling Che's original goal: show off.
But his teammates were too good at acting, the forum was too good at shipping, and the villains were too easy to beat up.
Looking at the plot slowly falling apart and the bickering, laughing, life-and-death family around him, he sighed and rolled his wrists.
"Forget it. I'll come clean. I'm going to enjoy this show."
"I'll protect my teammates, change the plot. Got a problem with that?"
"Then keep it to yourself."
A few things to know before reading
[The protagonist is the strongest in the novel, and isn't entirely a good person]
1. At its core, this is a lightly ensemble-focused story, so everyone will get their moments in the spotlight. It won't be a one-man show starring the protagonist. No romance, no romance!
2. Please don't nitpick the plot holes. Some things, like power levels and worldbuilding, may get overlooked. Also, it's extremely chuunibyou, both the plot and the setting. The writing isn't great, there aren't any real foreshadowed twists, and there aren't any tearjerkers, so relax and enjoy.
3. Since this is a no-CP story, the protagonist is treated like the beloved center of the group, and the others will also imagine all sorts of things about his actions. I love the characters in this story, and hope the characters I created will be loved by more people too, so please don't say cruel things about them. They're all good kids.
4. If any character's behavior or dialogue makes you uncomfortable, it's definitely a problem with the author's writing or characterization. Please don't hate the characters in the story.
5. There may be a little bit of people reading too much into things, such as the other characters being very prone to making assumptions... There will also be people shipping characters on the forum, so please don't read if that bothers you.
6. There are lots of forum-style sections early on, and some chapters may consist entirely of forum posts. The forum users' comments won't be as harsh as they would be in real life. They'll be much kinder, since I don't want you to encounter upsetting comments in a novel, and I can't bear to see the characters in the story get flamed. Because of the plot, the manga content and forum sections will gradually decrease later on, so please don't read if that bothers you!
7. The manga forum doesn't play a major role early on, and the protagonist doesn't rely on it to survive. He just needs to learn some information, though there are a few hidden details. The others will help out later!
*Here's a recommendation for my upcoming original ensemble novel, How to Handle Too Many Secret Identities. Come see our master playwright Xi Bai save the world! Please add it to your reading list~
Blurb:
Xi Bai gained the ability to create secret identities using shock points. After explaining everything, the heartless System left him with a single line: [High schoolers are just the right age to save the world. Go for it, young man!] Then it went into hibernation.
Xi Bai, who had taken a leave of absence from school because of poor health, wondered: What do I do now that I've suddenly become the world's savior?
Well, obviously... go all out!
After working hard to establish a faction of his own, Xi Bai looked back to find that countless people had imagined his secret identity characters as tragic, beautiful, and powerful, while he, the real person, was considered a villain who would stop at nothing.
Xi Bai refused to accept that.
He crafted the perfect script and built an exquisite stage for humanity.
As night fell, the play began.
When the truth came to light, everyone cried out:
"I will offer everything I have to my Lord."
The humans who had been saved wailed online.
"Our Lord is so tragic, sob! They must have had their reasons!"
"My heart aches for Them, who would do anything to save us."
"I repent for ever suspecting They were a bad person..."
"I'm going to cry my eyes out. Why is everyone in the Seventh District so miserable?!"
Watching everyone cry over the story he had created, Xi Bai smiled as he stroked the face of a secret identity beside him.
"Oh my, I might have gone a little overboard."
-
The "Uncanny" suddenly descended upon this world. As humanity faced extinction, an organization called the "Seventh District" appeared.
The "Healer," with a severe tendency toward self-destruction.
The "Tarot," who burned through their life to trade with demons.
The "Reflection in the Mirror," eternally imprisoned in another world with no way out.
And the "White Bird," forever unable to fly high in the sky because of a curse; the "Mechanical Device," modified so they would live forever but never be able to touch their own heart; the "Saintess," who pitied the world yet was cruel and bloodthirsty...
The divine oracle declared:
Remember the "Seventh District" forever.
With nowhere left to turn, the people of Earth made a wish to the gods in the heavens above.
"They" came in response to save the world, yet kept murmuring:
"When our Lord returns, we will bind ourselves in chains."
And when that day finally came,
everyone around the world saw those "humans," whose powers were like those of monsters, prostrate themselves at "Their" feet.
"We are joined together because of You."
"We beg for Your mercy."
"We will usher in an era that belongs to You, "
Theme: Before the destined ending arrives, fight to win a future for everyone.

That is to say, although half of the blood needs to be burned at a time, it is a conceptual ability that can change anything you want.
Why don't you show the missing mother at the back? Don't you want to 🐶🌹 🐶🌹 🐶🌹
What are you proud of? [Fear] But can the credits actually be deducted as negative? [Cai dog]
A reference to Zootopia's lightning? 🐶
My junior high school once held an activity of hiking from school to the mountains. Before we got halfway, a big bug got into my nostril, burst my nasal membrane and flew away. I started to have nosebleeds. The teacher was so frightened that I immediately told me to get in the car without walking any further. After that, I spent most of the way in the car, which was very refreshing 🐶🌹

Is it really because of narcissism rather than foreshadowing [Glasses]
Hey! Discovering Momo's settings, the rich [Spread Flowers]
When I talk about the trust between the male protagonist and the male lead, I think of a comic I read before. In the beginning, the male lead was a strong and controlling character, but in the end, the male lead is like a princess. When in danger, he will be the first to fall, and then wait for the male lead to burst out to save him. I recommend the male lead, but every time the male lead falls, there are fewer shots, and he is not as powerful as before. He has lost a lot of character charm, and it really has no effect at all during the battle. It is all up to the male protagonist to turn the tide [covering face and laughing]
