The first time Li Zhiyu saw Xu Sheng, he was leaning against the hallway wall, playing on his phone. The boy was tall and slender, with a languid air. His hat sat loosely on his head, almost covering his entire face.

As Li Zhiyu passed him, he could always feel a scorching gaze following him from behind.

He turned around and met that gaze.

The boy in black stared at him openly and unapologetically, with no shame at being caught.

This person is strange.

That was Li Zhiyu's first impression of him.

Later, he found out that this person was the freshman who had gone viral on Lin University’s confession wall a few days earlier because of a photo.

In a dim, cramped corner, Xu Sheng spread his arms, trapping him against the wall.

Li Zhiyu pressed his lips together and turned his head, but Xu Sheng gripped his chin and forced him to look up.

"Look at me, big brother."

The boy's eyes were rimmed with red. A drop of water slipped from his thick lashes, so quickly it seemed like an illusion.

"Xu Sheng, you're drunk," Li Zhiyu said softly.

But Xu Sheng stared at him, intent as a stubborn child, desperate for an answer.

"You accepted his love letter, didn't you?"

The fingers hanging at Li Zhiyu's side suddenly trembled.

Li Zhiyu took a deep breath. "You saw?"

Those four words hit the boy like freezing rain, shattering the last of his defenses.

He suddenly laughed, then bent over as he laughed, resting his forehead lightly on Li Zhiyu's shoulder. This person, usually so cool and arrogant, now didn't even dare lean on him with any force. His voice was muffled in the fabric, damp with emotion:

"Big brother, please, look at me a little more."

Everyone knows Xu Sheng likes Li Zhiyu.

Mini-scene:

Li Zhiyu has left.

When Li Shun arrives, Xu Sheng is sitting by the window, blowing out rings of smoke, one after another.

"Were you really drunk just now?"

"No."

"I knew it."

The drunkenness was fake, but the sadness was real. So was the line about wanting him to look over more. Because what he really wanted was for him to keep looking at him.
