Wen Qingshi had a nemesis two years below him, Xu Wei.
The reason was simple: right after the new school year began, Xu Wei stole the heart of the upperclassman Wen had been chasing for a year, leaving him with a very weighty consolation prize.
Heartbroken out of nowhere, Wen Qingshi was devastated and got drunk late into the night.
That night, the supposed culprit even gave him a faintly mocking smile.
Wen Qingshi clenched his fist. Damn it.
From then on, Wen Qingshi unilaterally declared Xu Wei the greatest enemy he'd had in his more than twenty years of life.
You like wearing white shirts to look innocent? I'll draw a bunch of giant turtles all over them.
You want to be a model student? I'll stuff your schoolbag with a whole collection of pornographic books.
You ignore people and act like you're above everyone else? I'll take a megaphone and march around campus, shouting:
"I'm Xu Wei, I'm a huge idiot! I'm Xu Wei, I'm a huge idiot!"
Every time his pranks worked, Wen Qingshi would laugh until he doubled over, thrilled to bits.
-
But one night, Wen Qingshi suddenly felt his whole body tense up, as if a pair of warm hands had closed around his neck.
Then a slender finger slowly traced down from his brow, over the bridge of his nose, his lips, and his chin, finally stopping at his Adam's apple to gently rub it.
A fine, prickly tickle.
Just as he was about to suffocate, a sharp pain suddenly flared at his collarbone.
"Ow!"
He'd been bitten hard.
At first, Wen Qingshi thought he'd just had an unusually realistic nightmare. But the strange dream became more and more frequent, and even started spilling over from night into day!
After a while, Wen Qingshi frowned and covered his sore, red collarbone, swearing he would find the culprit.
-
He set his sights on the little cat doll Xu Wei carried around.
Xu Wei was unbelievably aloof, radiating an arrogant vibe that screamed "stay away." But there was something off about that soft, cute doll in his hands.
The most outrageous thing was that, for some reason, Wen Qingshi thought the doll looked a lot like him?!
With the attitude that it was better to kill the wrong person than let the culprit go, Wen Qingshi decided to get his hands on the doll.
He pretended to make up with Xu Wei. To show how sorry he was for his past pranks (not really), he gritted his teeth and accepted Xu Wei as his big brother, becoming his loyal lackey.
Wen Qingshi: If big bro says go east, I won't go west. If big bro says run, I won't crawl.
Just when it looked like he had finally won Xu Wei's trust, Wen Qingshi waited until he wasn't paying attention and quietly swiped the doll.
Before leaving, he also took out his frustration by drawing a hundred giant turtles in his junior's book.
But this messed-up phenomenon still didn't stop...

[High school perspective]
Xu Wei had always been able to get anything he wanted, except for that upperclassman by the entrance to Classroom Three on the second floor.
The upperclassman was incredibly nice to everyone, but never even looked at Xu Wei.
He didn't even remember him.
Xu Wei kept looking for ways to get close to him, but failed every time.
Until...
He got hold of an empathic doll.
[Hotheaded sunshine bottom x cold to everyone else, shamelessly flirtatious top]
P.S.
1. The bottom doesn't actually like the upperclassman. It's more like admiration.
2. Both leads are handsome, absolute heartthrobs by design.
3. A sweet little two-person romance, with no logic, mountains of author-created details, and nothing to scrutinize too closely~
4. The doll has some author-created details.
