Mimi is a little orange cat from Furball Planet.

One day, while his family was away, he sneaked off with a friend aboard the long-awaited spaceship, ready to roam the universe and eat to his heart's content!

But what rotten luck. The ship malfunctioned halfway through the trip, and he was flung onto a blue planet that looked like water.

His front leg was broken, and he couldn't find his friend. Filthy from head to toe, Mimi's tears fell with little plips. "Meow..."

Why is Mimi so unlucky!

Before he could even wipe away his tears, someone in the swimming pool caught his eye.

The young man had just surfaced. Broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and smooth, well-defined pecs. A few droplets of water clung to his waist, just about to fall. He was insanely sexy.

Mimi stared, dumbstruck. "Wow."

Is this what a handsome man looks like fresh out of the bath?!

It seemed this little cat had fallen in love at first sight with a man. QAQ

He forgot about wiping his tears, his leg stopped hurting, and he no longer cared about finding his friend. Mimi limped over to the man and rubbed against his fingers. "Meow, meow, meow."

The man ignored him, so Mimi rubbed against him again. "Meow!"

The man got up and left without even petting him once.

The heartbroken cat lowered his head and prepared to leave, when suddenly everything went dark. The man, now dressed, had stuffed him into his pocket.

Duan Feng had picked up a cat. A chubby little orange cat, soft and fluffy to the touch.

But he hadn't wanted to pick it up for himself. He'd only done so to find a little companion for his ailing grandmother. If she didn't like it, he could always let it go.

But the kitten was adorable and lively, and his grandmother loved it.

Then he might as well keep it at home for now.

He hadn't expected the kitten to cling to him so much.

When he went to school, he could always see two little ears bobbing behind the wall whenever he looked back.

When he went to the bathroom, a bright yellow little shape was always sprawled behind the glass door.

When he did his homework, the cat would brazenly lie on its back on his desk, its fluffy belly on full display...

He wanted to bury his face in it.

But he held back.

Until one day, he forgot his textbooks at home and walked in on Mimi turning into a handsome young man with blond hair and fair skin.

One day later on, Mimi came home, flung his schoolbag onto the sofa, and mysteriously pulled Duan Feng into the study.

Duan Feng raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?"

As if announcing one of the world's great unsolved mysteries, Mimi declared with utmost seriousness, "Meow likes you. Meow wants to marry you!"

Mimi leaned in to look him in the eyes. "Can I, Duan Feng?"

"..." Duan Feng fell silent for a few seconds, then said flatly, "I don't marry cats."

When they met again, it was on an unfamiliar planet, and his kitten was standing beside another tall man.
