Becoming the Stepfather of My Own Son

Blurb

If you want to make more money, you have to take side jobs!

A member of an underground organization can't get any assignments, so he's forced to take private jobs to earn extra cash.

Karma strikes fast. His main job and side gig collide

Organization: Get close to top Alpha Lu Shiheng and kill him.

Client: Get close to top Alpha Lu Shiheng and dump him.

He has to play a heartless jerk and carry out an assassination.

With his morals and principles at odds, Xie Xingyuan decides: break his heart first, then kill him.

But just as the story reaches the part where the "gold-digging woman" decisively leaves for money and the wealthy top Alpha is so heartbroken he becomes a laughingstock, Lu Shiheng pins him down by the neck during his rut.

Ten months after Xie Xingyuan flees in a panic, he gives birth to a child.

The mission has failed, the organization is hunting him, and Xie Xingyuan has become an undocumented person. With no other choice, he secretly leaves the child with the Lu family, vowing to take his precious baby back once he's made it big.

Three years later, Xie Xingyuan is diligently selling additive-free grilled sausages outside his son's kindergarten when Lu Shiheng suddenly shows up

"My son really likes you. I want you to marry me and tell him you're his real daddy."

"In other words, you have to pretend you gave birth to him."

Xie Xingyuan: "..."

Could this mean he can openly fight for custody now?

Breaking news! The wealthy top Alpha has been dumped by a gold-digger. Is the Lu Group's bankruptcy about to become reality?

Xie Xingyuan gives it his all: "Lu Shiheng, I'll be honest with you! I got close to you for your money, but now I have someone richer. You're useless to me!"

Lu Shiheng falls silent.

Who wrote this script for his precious baby? Who in the world could possibly be richer than him?

Theme: First marriage, then love, and face life with a smile
