Starting as the Top, I Tear Up the Tragic Bottom's Script

Some people are fated to be the abused bottom in a tragic novel.

He's the real young master, kidnapped as a child and subjected to endless abuse in the mountains.

He's the special-admission student who is bullied by everyone at an elite academy and forced to withdraw in disgrace.

He's the sweet, naive, universally despised contestant in a romance reality show, hated by the entire internet.

He's the stand-in for a CEO's one true love, kept as a lover and treated with contempt.

His skin is soft, his defenses and health are sky-high. No matter how harshly he's tormented, no matter how miserable things get, he just won't die. But in the end, he dies anyway.

Cause of death: Organ donation.

The people who once abused him shed tears of gratitude and remorse, then go on to live out the rest of their lives in shame and happiness.

That, according to the Tragic Novel Awakening System, is the life Yu Mo has in store for him.

Looking around at the poverty-stricken mountains, Yu Mo decides to start by becoming the top and changing his fate.

The older boy next door is handsome in a rugged way, tall and strong, but an injury from childhood means he'll never be able to get a wife. He's a cannon-fodder character with none of the main cast's romantic tension.

Yu Mo rubs his hands together. "Hey, wanna get married? In public, you can call me your wife. In private, I'll be your husband. Let's build a happy future together."

The older boy next door turns beet red, his face dark and flushed. Since it seems like a good deal anyway, he agrees.

Later, Wan Fenglai realizes that his husband is no ordinary man.

Leaving the mountains with an acceptance letter to an elite academy in hand, Yu Mo takes Wan Fenglai to a family reunion show and makes a grand entrance.

"How could those ugly old fruits back home have produced a fine shoot like me? Don't I look just like that rich-and-powerful so-and-so?"

After he's reunited with his wealthy family, his three older brothers sneer at him. Yu Mo has Wan Fenglai hold them down while he slaps them over and over.

"You ungrateful brats, always siding with outsiders! I'll make sure you know who your real blood-related daddy is!"

On a live variety show, Yu Mo and Wan Fenglai show off their affection while turning the entire program upside down.

"In this world, there are only workhorses, chickens, and ducks. The chickens and ducks perform onstage, the workhorses watch from below, and two dogs are showing off their love. Woof!"

After all the bickering and fighting, the young couple's life just keeps getting better.

Before they know it, they've achieved financial freedom and reached the pinnacle of life!
