[Bastard rich second-generation heir x deceptively innocent, deranged lunatic]
Suiyi grew up in a poor mountain village. Then, after taking the place of a neighbor, Jiang Chang brought him home. From then on, the spoiled heir had a little shadow trailing behind him.
The bastard heir had a terrible temper, but he was famously patient with this younger brother. His little brother was mute, so Jiang Chang learned sign language. His little brother was afraid of thunder, so Jiang Chang hauled him into his own bed to sleep together. Even when he went drinking and carousing, he had to bring his little brother along, since the kid was afraid to stay home alone.
His friends declared, "Did you bring home a little brother, or are you looking for a wife?"
Jiang Chang clicked his tongue confidently. "He's mute and timid. He can't live without me."
In the corner, Suiyi hugged a cushion and gazed at him with big, fluttering eyes. Jiang Chang's fatherly affection overflowed, and his heart nearly melted. So when Suiyi's identity was exposed, Jiang Chang simply couldn't believe that the little jasmine he'd raised was actually an evil gardenia.
At the club, he kicked aside the boy kneeling at Suiyi's feet, holding out his hands as an ashtray, and gestured his furious questions so fast his hands blurred.
Suiyi continued to blink those big eyes. "What do you want to know, big brother?"
Jiang Chang was stunned. "You can fucking talk?!"
That night, Jiang Chang smoked for the entire night before finally reaching a conclusion:
Whether it was real or not, all Jiang Chang knew was that the way Suiyi said "big brother" sounded so sweet.
