As an overworked office drone stuck on the clock for twelve hours at a stretch, Zhou Qie often fantasized about becoming the second female lead who served as a stand-in in a novel.
She'd casually swipe the CEO's supplementary card in her spare time, live a life of unexpected luxury, then walk away with a check when his first love came back one day.
Then she'd retire in style and get an early start on her carefree life.
Fantasy was just fantasy. Zhou Qie never thought it would come true. But when a luxury car stopped in front of her and the handsome man inside really did press a card into her hand, she was stunned.
A fortune had just dropped right into her lap.
That night, Zhou Qie became the stand-in for President Gu's first love.
