An Unofficial Breakout [Entertainment Industry]

Six years ago, an overseas BL drama set in the entertainment industry became a global sensation.

Bai Suishan and Zhao Jinan, two unknown leads, shot to fame overnight. Their ship, "Tai Bai Jin Xing," came out of nowhere and became a new viral sensation, despite its "shady origins."

Just as fans were shipping them like crazy and demanding a reunion, the two stars abruptly distanced themselves. They stopped promoting together, and even got rid of every matching item they owned.

Then Bai Suishan went abroad to pursue his career, and stayed away for six years.

This once sensational ship had completely sunk after just one month.

Six years later, news that Bai Suishan, leader of the boy group Kindle, was returning to China set the internet ablaze. His first variety show even paired him with an artist from Zhao Jinan's rival camp.

The dramatic turn of events set all three fandoms at each other's throats.

Then a backstage video from a Kindle concert leaked online.

Zhao Jinan, whose "Top Alpha in the World" tag dominated the trending charts and who led the domestic entertainment industry's top-dominant poll by a landslide, was cornered in a hallway by his former shipmate, the one who had once cut ties with him. Bai Suishan tipped up his chin. His expression was cool as he asked, "You had it good overseas. What did you come back for?"

Staring at the other man's ears, already red to the tips, Bai Suishan grinned and said, "To steal you away."

The old ship, thought long dead, came back to life. Years later, the two of them once again went viral outside the mainstream, for the Nth time, through unofficial means.

"In this grand feast of fame, where everyone celebrates,

You are my most spectacular unofficial breakout."

Please note:

1. Both the gong and the shou have ABC tendencies and dependent kinks. Please don't read if that bothers you.

2. They dote on each other and both make a strong effort to pursue the other. This is not a one-sided gong-pursues-shou or shou-pursues-gong story.

3. The main story begins a very long flashback to six years ago from Chapter 19. The flashback is sweet.

4. The names of the characters and the group were chosen for a reason. This involves later spoilers, so I won't say more, but they weren't picked at random.

5. No sasaengs, ever. Don't read if you can't accept the protagonists getting physical and fighting with sasaengs of any gender.
