The Little Wonton Demon

Nana loves Grandma's wontons more than anything.

The pork filling is minced until fine and glossy, then drizzled with gleaming oyster sauce and light soy sauce,

wrapped in golden egg batter, and sprinkled with chopped scallions...

Looking at the little wontons floating in seaweed chicken soup,

Nana can't help drooling.

Not far away, in the shade beneath the grapevine,

a little goblin is drooling too...
