Synopsis

Song Tianshi is surrounded by impressive people. His classmate is a genius detective, his childhood friend is a star athlete, and even the girl next door is an aspiring idol.

By comparison, Song Tianshi is an utterly ordinary background character.

Then one day, Song Tianshi accidentally starts watching a new anime and discovers that he's actually a popular character in its multiverse, a mysterious hidden big shot who walks the line between good and evil, and between the underworld and the law, according to the fans.

Song Tianshi: A big shot? Me? (points at himself)

He watches the anime closely and figures out why:

Whenever he appears, the director gives him weird background music.

A case occurs, and the genius detective hits a dead end. Song Tianshi happens to pass by and offers an encouraging smile.

(A suspenseful, chilling BGM plays.)

Comments: One casual remark, and he solved the mystery! He'd already seen through the truth!

On the sports field, the star athlete is losing to his opponent and falls into despair. Song Tianshi cheers him on from the sidelines.

(A rousing, blood-pumping BGM plays.)

Comments: Why is the cheer squad's BGM so epic? Wait, is he reminding the protagonist what strategy to use? Could he be that legendary retired prodigy athlete?

On the street, Song Tianshi walks down the stairs like an ordinary person.

(A hard-hitting rock BGM plays.)

Comments: The Joker's theme! Could he be the dark hero of this crime-ridden city?!

At home, Song Tianshi greets the pretty twin-tailed idol girl.

(The cheerful, lighthearted BGM abruptly stops.)

Comments: Help, don't scare me! There's something wrong with this Song Tianshi. Magical girl, run!

Song Tianshi frowns as he watches. What is all this supposed to mean? These viewers just make things up.

(A grand, epic BGM plays, complete with a vocal choir.)

Comments: When the big shot frowns, there must be a problem! He's definitely plotting to conquer the world!

Song Tianshi: ?
