Identifying the Internet's Trending Monsters

In the year 2075 of the Ball Era, pollution descended, causing plants and animals to mutate on a massive scale. Humans began awakening supernatural abilities. Jiang Miao, a science education video creator, was filming outdoors one day when he rescued a man from drowning and gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The moment their lips met, Jiang Miao was infected and awakened an ability: he could see through the data of everything in the world. He could see other people's identifying information and health bars. He could see the names and ingredients of objects. With a single glance, he could even identify a mutated creature's species, abilities, degree of mutation, and even its weaknesses. The Pollution Containment Bureau called his ability "Heavenly Eye," ranking it first among support abilities. So Jiang Miao decided to make good use of his ability and keep making educational videos, only now he would teach people about monsters instead of ordinary plants and animals. "Everyone, take a look. This is a level 5 dangerous mutated species called the Fragrant Hunter. It gives off an alluring scent to lure in nearby animals." "This Fragrant Hunter looks like it's in great shape. Let's turn it into a specimen and donate it to the research institute!" As he kept making educational videos, Jiang Miao accidentally went from being a science video creator to an S-rank anomalous creature containment specialist for the Pollution Containment Bureau. The Bureau assigned him a partner. Jiang Miao took one look: Hey, isn't that the man I rescued from drowning? At the same time, he saw the man's data: Name: Xiang Tianyue Age: 25 Ability: Field Manipulation (S-rank) Weakness: Jiang Miao Jiang Miao blinked hard, making sure he had read it right.
