[Beyond the World] Racing Madly Toward the Other Shore

System prompt: Your task this time is

"Mission Name: A Fervent Journey to the Other Shore."

"Mission Difficulty: Unknown."

"Mission Objective: Protect the red spider lily (flower of the other shore) from being stolen."

"Identity Introduction: You are the flower keeper of the Netherworld. For thousands of years, you have diligently waited for the red spider lilies to bloom and guarded them. But during the week when the flowers bloom, your hell is visited by several unusual... 'uninvited guests'..."

"Note: This is a timed mission. There is no penalty for failure."

"Oh? Stealing from the very flowers you're guarding? A flower keeper like you is far too careless."

"Yes, I'm wanted. So... Lord Judge... are you going to take me back?"

"Spare me, Your Majesty... You know what my crime really is..."

"Mm, I know. I don't want you to leave... Do you really want me gone from your side?"

When I opened my eyes again, the mission had failed.

But I no longer had to hesitate over the lament of the River of Forgetfulness, nor wait for another bloom between life and death. Even if the cycle of reincarnation stretched on without end, even if the River of Forgetfulness lay silent and still, even if I were the only one left standing atop these "wildfires of the River of Forgetfulness," even if the road ahead was long and treacherous...

Still... I had seen the beauty of the flowers in bloom.

I had been fortunate enough to meet him, and to meet him again.

...In my final moment, I gazed toward the blood-red end of the world.

I knew that my lover, separated from me by life and death, had returned to the mortal realm.

This time, the other shore burns with passion.

And I... will guide you across.
