Ansel binds himself to a System that lets him pose as a god and is transported to a Western fantasy world.
The System tells him that if he doesn't pretend to be a god, he'll die.
"You're playing a god, but you have no divine powers. You can only regain your strength by increasing your faith points.
"You're weak from the start, but you have to spread suffering throughout the world.
"You're supposed to wreak havoc on the world, but you're a good god.
"You're a good god, but the guardian deity of this world will suspect you and hunt you down. Remember, that god is the world's strongest fighter.
"Finally, your body is missing, and you're now a ghost. Go find it yourself."
Ansel: ...
Do you hear yourself?
To fulfill the System's insane demands, Ansel is forced to play a mysterious mastermind behind the scenes, dispensing cryptic advice.
A good-for-nothing commoner asks about his grand ambition: "How can I become a mage whom everyone admires?"
Ansel makes something up: "Trace the paths of the stars, and you will find the power that belongs to you."
A history student seeks answers: "How can I uncover lost history and fill in the missing pieces of the historical record?"
Ansel bluffs: "Wait patiently. Time will give you the answer."
He thought he'd just go on pretending to be a god in an unremarkable way, but a legend began to spread among the people of another world:
A newborn god sits behind the curtain of night. Its power is unfathomable, its figure hidden in the mist, impossible to glimpse. It uses words to show people the way.
The world's strongest mage receives its guidance, and a scholar whose name will be remembered for all time is led by it.
It embraces lost history and watches over humanity's future.

"You sound pretty impressive."
A tall deity stands before Ansel, smiling without quite smiling.
"No, no." Ansel stares pleadingly at the body in the deity's arms, the one he's been searching for.
Can someone tell him why his body is in the hands of the guardian deity who's come to hunt him down?!

Ansel is the top; the guardian deity is the bottom, named Ales. Beautiful top, powerful bottom, and the bottom pursues the top.
I love the original setup, but I was still worried it might scare people off, so I changed it qaq
The blurb will be revised after I finish the outline. The behind-the-scenes plot and the core premise of pretending to be a god will stay the same.
Theme: God loves all humanity
