Good news!! Su Changling, whose bank account has been credited with a billion, gets pulled into an infinite-flow game filled with countless ghosts and deadly dangers.
The infinite-flow System tells him he can complete tasks and clear instances to earn points, which he can exchange for money to repay his debt.
Well, that's not much of a problem. After all, nothing in the world is scarier than being poor.
So he vows to outwork every other player, finding clues and unlocking side quests, always one step ahead.
The other players think he's reckless and rash, and that sooner or later he's doomed. But more often than not, the results screen pops up before news of his death:
[Instance mystery solved, main quest completion: 100%, side quest completion: 100%]
[MVP Player: Su Changling]
The players: ???

Su Changling diligently clears instances and saves up points, until the administrator of the infinite game, the divine envoy, sees how hard he works and has the System issue him special reward quests.
He expects to face even more dangerous challenges, but when he opens the list, he sees:
[Put on a cat-ear headband and wink at the divine envoy, points x2]
[Take part in a quest wearing a maid outfit and invite the divine envoy to watch, points x100]
[Accept the divine envoy's date invitation, points x1,000,000]
Su Changling: ...?
Wait a second, do I really have to earn this money?

The game Time of the Gods descends upon the world. Humanity is forced into instances, fighting for survival against ghosts by the skin of their teeth.
The gods have vanished without a trace. Only the divine envoys control the game.
Legend has it that MVP players have a chance to earn a divine envoy's blessing, and may even escape this never-ending game.
The players believe that Su Changling, who has won MVP several times, has the best chance of earning the envoy's favor and rising to unimaginable heights.
But no one knows that from the very first day he entered the game, he had already been living under the divine envoy's gaze.
An infinite-flow mystery-solving story, plot-focused, possibly mildly scary.
Pairing: Su Changling x Divine Envoy, Chang Nian (chang)
Black-haired, red-eyed beauty with a bowl cut, top x powerful bottom who says everything would spoil the plot
