To make the human keep it, it tried to communicate with its owner. “Human, why do you wet yourself with water every day?” Its owner replied, “Because I have to shower before I can go to bed.” The cotton doll looked at the bedsheet beneath it and said, “Then I have to wash too.” “Cotton dolls can't be washed.” “Why not?” The cotton doll couldn't understand. Its owner tried to scare it off. “Cotton doesn't dry properly. You'll get moldy and smelly.” A few days later, a powerful washer-dryer appeared on the balcony. “Human, why do you wear different clothes every day?” “Human, can I have new clothes too?” And so the cotton doll got its own wardrobe. “Human, I want to sit in the sun.” “Human, can you take me outside?” “Human...” Even after the cotton doll became human, it couldn't break the habit. “Human, I want that!” He tugged at his owner's sleeve and pointed at the cake in the shop window. “I taught you what to call me, didn't I?” His owner waited patiently for him to say it. “A Che!” Mu Mian thought his owner had been acting strangely lately. He no longer cuddled him to sleep or helped him get dressed, and he was going to the bathroom much more often. “Human... A Che! Are you sick?” “No.” When his owner refused for the third time to cuddle him in his grown-up form, Mu Mian could only turn back into a cotton doll and climb onto his owner's lap. “A Che, you're like a dryer. So warm.” “...It's hot out.” “Oh...” The cotton doll watched two people pressed together in a soap opera and asked, “A Che! A few things to know before reading: 1. A slow-burn slice-of-life story. First you raise a doll, then a kid, and finally a husband. The romance begins after the cotton doll becomes an adult, and the doll stage takes up a lot of the story. 2. The gong appears first. The shou is a cotton doll with limited ability to act at the beginning. The story is told from both characters' perspectives as well as a third-person perspective. There'll be scenes of the gong finding the shou adorable, scenes of the shou finding himself adorable, and adorable scenes from every possible angle. Mianmian is the cutest, and I won't hear otherwise. 3. The writing and plot are purely a matter of personal taste. Please don't compare or criticize. 4.
