My System Keeps Blasting BGM Across the Tennis World

A hallucination that came to me while listening to music as I wrote 🎶 Set in the world of Prince of Tennis.

My author page has plenty of other long and short stories. Go take a look, you might find something you like 😊

I'm Ming Na, formerly an overworked 996 office drone, now an unknown transmigrant.

My golden finger is a walking BGM player that shuffles random tracks.jpg.

On my first day transferring to Hyotei, the System plays "I'm the Queen."

The next second, Keigo Atobe appears with the 200-member tennis club army.

Can't answer a math question in class? The System switches to "Liang Liang."

Oshitari comes over to flirt? The System plays "I Want You So Bad," and he mistakenly thinks I'm confessing, then runs off in a panic.

Tezuka gives me a serious lecture? The System starts playing "Meow Like a Cat," and I meow on the spot.

The most outrageous moment is the National Tournament.

Yukimura uses "Five Senses Erasure," and Echizen falls to his knees.

The most dazzling square-dance DJ track blasts through the court!

Yukimura's expression freezes, Sanada's face darkens, and Echizen follows the beat... and stands back up.

Later, I bump into Yukimura, and the System immediately plays, "If you bump into someone, say you're sorry~"

Yukimura: "...Sorry."

Me: "..."

I tried turning off this lousy little System, too.

I silently think, "Power off" and it plays "Wake."

I physically smack my head and it switches to "Iron Head Kung Fu."

I beg it on my knees and it plays "You're So Poisonous" in a heartfelt voice.

I give up.

On the rooftop, I cry toward the setting sun: "System, what do you want from me?"

It plays "Lend Me Five Hundred More Years."

So you want me to endure this for another five hundred years?!
