After starting high school, Jiang Ning fell for someone.
His name was Zhou Zeyu. He was handsome, popular, from a well-off family, and a good student.
Lots of people at school liked him. She was just one of the less noticeable ones.
Her one small stroke of luck was that he never turned in his math homework on time.
And she happened to be the math class representative.
She could use collecting his homework as an excuse to exchange a few words with him.
-
After starting high school, Zhou Zeyu began to care about someone.
Her name was Jiang Ning. She was cute and a little shy.
But when she was with friends she knew well, she became lively and fun.
Their seats were separated by most of the classroom, though, and their circles of friends were like parallel lines.
All he could do was turn in his math homework late.
That way, she would walk over to him with the homework notebook.
And he would get a chance to say a few words to her.
-
At a gathering after the college entrance exams, Jiang Ning got a little tipsy and decided to put an end to her secret crush.
So she quietly slipped a little confession note into Zhou Zeyu’s pants pocket.
When she sobered up, she was afraid things would get awkward, so she blocked him on WeChat.
Two days later, to her surprise, Jiang Ning caught sight of Zhou Zeyu at the entrance to her apartment complex.
Her heart gave a lurch. She was just about to hide when he called out to her.
She could only put on a brave face and greet him. “What a coincidence. Do you have a friend who lives here?”
“Yeah, my girlfriend.” Zhou Zeyu paused, took the little note out of his pocket, and gave her a meaningful look. “But she blocked me, so I had to come to her door and beg.”
Jiang Ning: ?!
【Reader’s note】
One-on-one romance, both leads’ first relationship, happy ending. Cocky guy x sweet girl, both top students. No romance before the college entrance exam.
Coming next: After My Childhood Friend Lost His Memory. Blurb below
Li Leying’s childhood friend, Fu Siyan, was the perfect example of the kid everyone else’s parents wished they had:
He got good grades, had a steady personality, and was handsome. Countless girls had a crush on him.
Tired of girls using her to get close to him, Li Leying started pretending she didn’t know him after they went to college.
She’d enjoyed less than two months of peace when Fu Siyan suddenly got into a car accident.
Li Leying hurried to the hospital. A crowd of friends surrounded his bed, and he didn’t seem badly hurt, so she quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
She was about to slip out of the room unnoticed when Fu Siyan called out to her from behind.
Everyone turned to look at her at once.
Li Leying’s heart gave a lurch, and she tried to play dumb. “Classmate, do you know me?”
Fu Siyan frowned. “Aren’t you my girlfriend?”
Li Leying: ???
-
To avoid upsetting Fu Siyan, whose memories were confused, Li Leying was forced to become his girlfriend.
She thought she just had to play along until he recovered.
But before she knew it, she’d let him talk her into doing everything couples could do.
Worse still, it wasn’t only his memories that had changed. His personality had changed, too.
He used to be steady and restrained. Now he was so aggressive she could barely handle him.
He’d practically seduced her into bed.
When she saw their relationship had completely changed, Li Leying wrote up a disclaimer and asked Fu Siyan to sign it.
Fu Siyan raised an eyebrow. “Is that really necessary?”
Li Leying: “Of course! Before you lost your memory, you were so chaste and upright. I’m afraid that when your memories come back, you’ll say I took advantage of you.”
Fu Siyan lowered his eyes and chuckled. He tossed the disclaimer aside and pinned her roughly against the desk.
“Have you considered that this version of me might be the real me?”
Li Leying’s legs went weak. Her voice trembled. “W-what do you mean?”
Fu Siyan bit her flushed earlobe, his low voice murmuring in her ear. “I mean, ”
“I’ve wanted to do this to you since high school.”
Li Leying: ?!
