Too Flirtatious

[Second Male Lead Takes the Lead] [Secretly in Love] [Long-Planned Scheme] [Brothers in a Love Triangle]

During her senior year of high school, Chen Zhiyao transferred to Jingxi High School and boarded with the Gu family.

The person in charge of looking after her was the Gu family's eldest son, Gu Shixu. He was ten years older than her, tall and handsome, cool and refined.

Chen Zhiyao fell for him in secret and pursued him desperately for two years. All she got in return was: "I'm sorry. I only see you as a kid."

Heartbroken, Chen Zhiyao went to a bar to drink her sorrows away, where she met a man whose features were almost identical to his.

He was handsome, long-legged, and his carefree smile had an allure the other man lacked.

Unable to resist, she sat beside him and started flirting.

After a night together, Chen Zhiyao regretted it a little and hurried out of the hotel before he woke up.

She thought it had been a chance encounter and that they'd never see each other again.

But when she returned to the Gu family's villa that weekend, the man from that night was sitting in the living room.

He lounged against the sofa, leisurely sipping tea, more at ease than a guest had any right to be.

Gu Shixu introduced him: "My younger brother, Gu Yuze. He just came back from overseas last week."

Only after Gu Shixu finished speaking did Gu Yuze lazily raise his eyes and smile at her. "Nice to meet you. Please take good care of me."

Chen Zhiyao: ?!

Later, on a quiet summer night, Gu Yuze pinned Chen Zhiyao against a table with a wicked smile. Tears glistened in her eyes as she bit her lip.

Gu Yuze's tall figure paused. His dark eyes fixed on her flushed cheeks, his low voice edged with mockery:

"Why are you holding back and staying quiet? Afraid my brother will find out you've already changed your heart?"

[Reader Advisory]

When Chen Xia was ten, her mother remarried.

She was forced to call a strange man "Dad" and gained a stepbrother two years older than her, Chen Chao.

Though they weren't related by blood, they had completely different personalities. She was sweet and quiet, a model student, while he was carefree and unruly, always getting into trouble.

At school, no one would ever have guessed they were connected. Then he started dating someone from another school, and she reported him.

When they got home, Chen Chao blocked her by the door, his face dark. "Tell me, what did I ever do to you?"

Chen Xia lowered her eyes and replied coolly, "I just can't stand people like you, dating so casually while we're still in school."

"Fine. I'll remember that." He gave a bitter laugh, his eyes dark and unreadable.

Later, Chen Chao got into college and moved away from home. After taking her college entrance exams, Chen Xia applied to a university in the same city as him.

Before the semester began, Chen Xia moved into Chen Chao's off-campus apartment, claiming she wanted to get used to the city early.

Summer nights stretched on as they shared a bed in the humid, stuffy rental apartment.

Chen Xia suddenly asked, "What's it like to kiss someone?"

Chen Chao furrowed his brows. "How would I know?"

Chen Xia: "Didn't you date someone before?"

Chen Chao gave a crooked smile. "You ruined that for me, remember? I never even got to find out."

Chen Xia stared at him silently for a few seconds, then suddenly leaned close to his lips. "Then let me make it up to you."
