Ao Guang is the prestigious CEO of the East Sea. A thousand years ago, he was a hot-blooded corporate dragon, too. When faced with the monopolistic tactics of Heaven, a massive conglomerate, he had no choice but to fight back. Naturally, he couldn't beat the money.
Hot-blooded Ao Guang: "The East Sea will never be enslaved!"
Heaven: "Oh? Want to see your whole team get wiped out?"
At that moment, Ao Guang understood. Faced with overwhelming power and a massive interest group, no matter how hard a bottom-level worker dragon tried, he couldn't keep up with the rat race. All he could do was get squeezed dry. Rather than let all his employees get laid off, he might as well shoulder everything himself as the boss and trade it for a government post that let him "serve his sentence with pay." At least he'd make enough to get by.
And so the most laid-back leader in the history of the East Sea was born. He "voluntarily" submitted the East Sea Acquisition Application. His corporate culture had just one principle: when destruction has nothing to do with me, choosing to lie flat is also a tragic kind of victory.
Later, the Dragon King dutifully spent a thousand years as a prison guard. His daily routine involved squabbling with the guards, savoring the aroma of hot pot cooked in deep-sea lava, and watching Nezha drive himself into a frenzy with the rat race, all while sighing like a dragon who'd seen it all.
