Yang Chengyue, a good-hearted citizen, nearly died while standing up for someone in danger, and her near-death experience unexpectedly awakened her teleportation ability. The next moment, an organization called the "Special Abilities Bureau" came looking for her and said, "Comrade, the organization needs talented people like you!"
Yang Chengyue was about to refuse, but they offered her far too much! A generous salary, top-tier benefits, paid training, no clocking in or office hours, plus an internship certificate! Yang Chengyue's eyes gleamed with longing. "I can't believe such a good deal exists!" She grabbed the director's hand right away. "In life, I'm a person of the organization; in death, I'm a dead person of the organization!"
Ren Wangxi is Yang Chengyue's direct supervisor, mentor, and partner. Handsome, long-legged, and emotionally stable, but unfortunately, he has a mouth.
To bring out Yang Chengyue's potential, he casually grabbed office supplies, tossed them away, then ordered her to teleport and catch them. Yang Chengyue had plenty to say about that. "Why do I feel like you're training a dog?" Ren Wangxi said nothing.
Yang Chengyue teleported straight into a wall. The cool, stone-faced Ren Wangxi actually smiled for once. "You clipped through the map." Yang Chengyue fumed. "Could you get me unstuck first?"
After Yang Chengyue's training started to show results, she tried to get the upper hand over Ren Wangxi. She used her power and left three clearly visible images behind: one scratching his head, one standing on one leg, and one striking the pose of a roc in flight. Her real self was mixed in among them. She asked Ren Wangxi, "Guess which one is the real me?" Ren Wangxi said, "What is this, the real-versus-fake Monkey King? From now on, your master is calling you Monkey."
Gradually, Yang Chengyue discovered that the company's confidentiality agreement was thicker than the Xinhua Dictionary. Ask about anything and the answer was, "Insufficient clearance. Access prohibited." The world of supernatural abilities was dazzling, yet bizarre and surreal...
