The Popular Character's Brother or Sister

The characters may be out of character. This is a collection of short stories, all based on tropes and setups I like, but so few people write them that I have to write some myself for a bit of fun. Spoil them, spoil them, spoil them! Sweet, sweet, sweet!

One day, Oikawa's mother brought home a little boy. Oikawa Tooru, still in elementary school, curiously sized up the newcomer hiding behind his mother. Mrs. Oikawa nudged the child forward. "This is your little brother, Tooru. His name is [Ritsu]."

Facing his nervous, unfamiliar little brother, Tooru tilted his head, thought for a moment, then invited him, "Want to play ball with me, Ritsu?"

The Matsuda family had its first girl in generations. Mr. Matsuda gave an order: spoil her, spoil her rotten! (Just playing with the trope.)

Matsuda Jinpei scoffed, but dutifully changed her diapers anyway.

Hagiwara Kenji: "That's great! Your little sister is my little sister, too. I have a little sister now!"

The newborn [Riri] was extraordinary from the start. To her, the world looked like an RPG. As the two men argued in front of her, Riri's gaze shifted to the words above their heads: [Big Brother].

Riri: "Big brother... What is that?"

(Second-person narration)

Hiroshi Morofushi, adopted by his great-aunt's family, stood at the door. The one who opened it was his great-aunt's two-year-old daughter, his young great-aunt [Riri].

Kuroo was a little troubled. His younger brother [Ritsu] had been acting cold toward him lately. Could it be puberty?

Geto and Ieiri had been driven half out of their minds these past few days. Gojo Satoru was acting like a lunatic, bragging every day about having a little sister.

Gojo, who might not even like his little sister that much but was definitely being a pest: "Look, look! This is my little sister, [Riri]. Of course she's as good-looking as me."

[Ritsu] had traveled all the way to Yokohama to find his big brother. Looking at Chuuya, who was just as tall as him, Ritsu fell silent with grief.

Ritsu: "It's my fault for coming too late. Look how miserable my brother's become."

Faced with his sister returning from studying abroad, Tim was sweating bullets, unsure how to explain that in just one year their family was gone, their parents had left, and he'd been adopted by the neighbors next door and become the famous nighttime weirdo in a skintight costume.

The child [Ritsu] was brought over by a mother cat. Little Bruce gave him a piercing stare. The biggest rival in the competition for custody of the kittens turned out to be my little brother?

There's also a little kelp's (Kiriya Akechi's) little sister, the Miya twins' uncle, Mitsuri Kanroji's little sister, Bruce's niece, and more.

I write these when I'm stuck or want to relax. There's no fixed update schedule, and the whole story is free. You can suggest prompts or tell me which characters' younger siblings you'd like to read about (if I have them).

A series where I get jealous and just drink it down, no dumpling-making.

For convenience, boys are [Ritsu] and girls are [Riri].

They may be biological or adopted siblings, cousins, and so on. Their relationships aren't always that of older and younger siblings; sometimes they're uncles, aunts, brothers, or sisters, but they're all young, mainly little boys and girls (with a few special cases noted). I also have some ideas I like that aren't about younger siblings.

These aren't continuous plots. Chapters may be about any idea, and I'll indicate the main characters.

A lot of these are plot ideas and setups I like, but I don't think they have enough material for a hundred or two hundred thousand words (and I really can't write all of them, so I won't make things hard on myself). That's why this is a collection of short stories!
