[Winter Soldier] The Hydra Double Asset's Spring Escape

One day, two of Hydra's assets decide to run away.

They want crisp celery and steaming hot egg tarts. They want to make plans for a beautiful life and feel what it's like to lose control.

They want spring, too. They want freedom.

Do they succeed?

I didn't know the answer back then.

[Standalone story, can be read on its own]

An AU of an AU from the neighboring AU, essentially a bonus story for The Second Time.

The Second Time is a bonus story for Winter. This book, Twin Nine Escape, is a bonus story for The Second Time.

Recommended reading order: Winter, The Second Time, Twin Nine. (Longtime Winter readers have probably read it already. New readers can skip Winter and start with The Second Time.)

I'll always love Riri and Bucky.

Theme: Love and freedom
