I, Jian Ran, became a veteran actor at a young age.

My greatest achievement is winning every major award. I have a whole cabinet full of best actor trophies.

But one day, I was abducted by aliens.

Like countless aliens from other planets, I was abducted by creatures from a highly advanced civilization and taken to an unknown planet. Here, we have to clear a series of challenges and win the final God of Acting trophy, or the planet I come from will be doomed.

Fail a challenge and the contestant dies. The planet behind them will become fertilizer.

All right. For the sake of my own life, and even more for Blue Star, I have to get moving.

If that's the case, it's time to show the aliens what real skill looks like, and what it means to be the true...

God of Acting.

When Blue Star contestant No. 379871, Jian Ran, first entered the sights of the highly advanced aliens...

Everyone fell silent.

No one thought a delicate-looking, fragile boy like him could surprise them.

In this show, the audience's emotional response is the measure of success. Anyone who can make the advanced aliens feel an emotional intensity of 80 becomes their [god].

On first sight, Jian Ran scored an emotional intensity of: 1

The aliens' first impression of him was: Unremarkable

Their time was limited. They wouldn't waste it on contestants who couldn't provide them with emotional stimulation, so they quickly swiped past him.

They thought Jian Ran and his planet would soon lose their chance and become fertilizer for them.

But they never expected that this person would give them a thrill like nothing they'd ever experienced before in the challenges to come!

In the Joy challenge, his performance was simple, yet after watching it, they felt the purest joy.

How many years had it been since they'd experienced that emotion?

Jian Ran: Don't worry, don't worry. Just the basics :)

In the Anger challenge, his performance was just as "basic." This time, even more people were watching him, expecting him to move them as easily as he had in the previous challenge.

But they still underestimated his acting. It was so lifelike that it made them want to reach through the screen and strangle him.

Jian Ran: Angry? Good. I'm angry about being treated like fertilizer, too :)

In the Sorrow challenge...

They watched Jian Ran clear one challenge after another, his emotional scores climbing higher and higher. Everyone across the advanced civilization's star sector started following Jian Ran, becoming his fans and eagerly anticipating what kind of thrill he would give them in his next challenge.

Even though he hadn't cleared every challenge yet, they had already decided:

When people on Blue Star learned that their planet was being kept as a reserve source of fertilizer by the advanced aliens, and that it would be destroyed if its chosen contestant failed to win, every country grew tense. Especially after seeing their own country's contestant on the sky screen, they could only hope that the contestant would do their country proud and make it to the end.

Dongxia was the only exception.

People in Dongxia seemed relaxed, as though they weren't worried about their contestant's safety or abilities at all.

People from other countries couldn't help asking online why they weren't worried. They received this answer.
