Blurb:
A blind, notorious schemer in the entertainment industry, with a beastly side x a gentle, accepting ancient tree that can bloom
(1)
When Bai Zui was still a little sapling, her match-making-obsessed master read her fortune and said her love would come hurtling into her arms one dark and stormy night!
The little sapling felt shy, but also hopeful. From then on, she was determined to grow into a towering tree with a lush canopy, so she could tenderly catch her love in her strong, broad arms!
Many years later, that dark and stormy night finally came. Bai Zui looked at the front of the car rammed straight into her, then at the "love" that had flown through the windshield and impaled itself on her southeast branch, nearly dying... Honestly, she felt like murdering her master.

Tan Yiyao, a notorious starlet, went blind.
The Tan family, who had been leeching off her for years, made their choice without hesitation: they sold her to a dried-up old man with money and connections!
Tan Yiyao let everything go in one ear and out the other, except for three words: "has connections"!
Why not just steal that person away and have them protect her instead? Tan Yiyao decisively packed her things and drove blindly through the night to throw herself into their arms.
As it turned out, the car landed in someone's arms, and she ended up in a tree...
The layers of branches spread like flower petals. A woman, unscathed, gently drew her moon-white shawl around herself and spoke in a calm, tender voice. "You have two choices. Become my little demon servant and live while keeping this secret, or become fertilizer for my flowers..."
Who would choose death when they could live? Hanging from the woman's southeast branch, swaying and barely alive, Tan Yiyao struggled to move her throat. "I'll be your little one, your demon, your servant. Any of those is fine."
She paused, felt the thin vine wrapped around her wrist, then frowned slightly and tried to bargain in a quiet voice. "But I really can't handle these tentacles... Do you think I can still be accepted?"
Bai Zui: ...
She solemnly withdrew her southeast branch.
Tan Yiyao wiped at the holes in her body, where blood was spurting out. "Actually, I don't mind the tentacles after all. How about putting them back in?"

"Why am I a clouded leopard? Shouldn't I be a plant that grows by clinging to you?" Tan Baobao paced around majestically, practicing her walk.
"Clouded leopards live in trees." The woman quietly reading glanced sideways at the tail that always seemed to curl around and brush her wrist whenever its owner passed by. Her love was secretly flirting with her again. But she corrected her with a perfectly straight face: "You're moving your arms and legs on the same side."
Still adjusting to her animal form, Tan Baobao awkwardly let out a growl and ate the sweet little flower beside her in one bite. "Got it!" she answered irritably.
Eating a flower like that... Shouldn't she wait until... Bai Zui pressed her lips together and reminded her, "That one just bloomed this morning."
At the mention of "this morning," she furrowed her brow again, looking at the increasingly bold feline. "Also, when you're kneading..."
Why were there so many rules? Tan Baobao cut her off fiercely. "That's instinct! What am I supposed to do about it?"
Bai Zui raised her eyes. "The problem is, you're kneading me."
How presumptuous! They hadn't even gotten that intimate yet!
