In the original story, the white moonlight recovers after taking all of the devoted bottom’s cultivation, while the devoted bottom is reduced to a cripple and treated with contempt.
After being reborn, the white moonlight finds the hidden dungeon and intends to free the devoted bottom.
But the devoted bottom looks at him for a moment, then plunges a knife straight into his own heart. His voice is teasing and mocking. “You’ve drunk so much of my blood, young master. Why do you still look so frail?”
The frail young master is forced to drink blood with the other man holding his head in place. He chokes and coughs incessantly, hearing only a soft, pleased laugh beside his ear.
“Our poor young master’s wrists are so thin they fit in one hand, and even his throat is so narrow. You’re going to have a hard time of it later...”
