A Sickly Batling in DC

[Reader comments are open now. Forgive this silly author for only just realizing I could turn them on, haha.]

Lin Qianyue woke up to find the System telling her she had become a little Bat.

Lin Qianyue: “So I'm in for a knife fest, huh?”

Naturally, there were no knives

System: “You're a new little Bat in the Wayne family, with a frail-body buff. You'll be out of breath after one step, coughing after three, and spitting blood after five.”

Lin Qianyue, a powerhouse heroine who could fight, heal, and take on anyone who crossed her, heard she was frail and pulled out a fifty-meter-long broadsword. “Who did you say was going to spit blood?”

Pfft. She really spat blood.

The System patiently explained: “You currently have schizophrenia, depression, heart disease, and stomach problems. Take it easy.”

Lin Qianyue: “This stupid setting can get lost. I'm done putting up with this. Wait, my family is loaded? Fine, I might as well stay for a while. But why can't I eat spicy hot dogs? Maybe I should just die. What's the point of living if I can't eat spicy food?”

The Bats: “No, no, don't! The world is so beautiful, but you're so irritable. That's not good, not good at all.”

Lin Qianyue decided to lie flat. “If you can send me a handsome boyfriend who's good at fighting, flirting, and cooking, and whose food tastes great, I might consider it.”

A certain undercover agent popped up.

Lin Qianyue fell silent. Lin Qianyue was horrified. Lin Qianyue couldn't breathe. “Wasn't this supposed to be a superhero crossover? Why is there a little Shinigami detective here?”

Theme: Keep going, and you'll have everything.
