[Six thousand characters a day, please don't let it pile up in your reading list QAQ]
[Thanks for all your support, everyone! Please favorite my upcoming novels, The Little Bunny Farms and Builds in the Beast World and Reborn as the Vicious Widowed Sister-in-Law of the Dragon-Awesome Hero in a Period Novel. Their blurbs are at the bottom~]
Blurb:
After transmigrating into the body of a doomed cannon fodder, Shen Yi only wants to make money and stay alive.
Since fiction in this other world is a cultural wasteland, he whips out The Ultimate Guide to Melodramatic Fiction and decides to use the tackiest tropes to fleece the most gullible readers!
And so, a brainless melodrama packed with substitutes, amnesia, running away while pregnant, and a groveling chase for a wife appears out of nowhere.
Shen Yi: This makes no sense... The plot is stupid. Whatever, I'll make it as melodramatic as possible!
Who could have guessed that readers in this other world wouldn't drop the story? Instead, it gets a rapturous response:
[Oh my god! This wild disregard for logic must be the author's ingenious design!]
[What? A man? Pregnant? It's not biologically plausible, but damn, it's exciting!]
[What kind of heavenly romance is this?! The male lead is trash, but somehow I'm shipping them!]
Looking at his rapidly growing bank balance and the screen full of comments praising his writing, Shen Yi falls into deep thought: ...Do you people misunderstand something about melodramatic fiction?
--
Later, Shen Yi steps in front of the camera himself to film a short drama.
Everyone thinks he's only good at churning out melodrama, but when the series goes online, the whole internet erupts.
Viewers denounce the plot as utterly illogical while staying up all night to watch the latest episodes. Some even write ten-thousand-word essays analyzing the "theory of human emotional game-playing" embedded in it.
[It's so corny, but I can't stop watching! This domineering CEO's reckless, death-defying declarations are somehow damn sweet!]
[Does this really work? I've learned my lesson. I'm going to try it on my nemesis!]
Shen Yi saves enough money to run away, only for the gloomy, terrifying disabled big shot in the wheelchair to suddenly stand up.
The big shot, eyes red, corners Shen Yi against the wall and speaks with a trembling voice:
"Your book says that at this point, the male lead should force a kiss on you and say, 'Man, you've successfully caught my attention...'"
The big shot takes a deep breath and awkwardly leans closer. "Is this right?"
Shen Yi: ...Help, you took the domineering CEO lines I wrote and put them into practice?! The problem is, why are you using them on me?!
--
The whole other world thinks Shen Yi is a lunatic, until everyone realizes that these melodramatic novels, infuriating as they are, send their emotional fluctuation levels through the roof!
[Ever since I started reading these novels, I don't worry about getting Emotional Withering Syndrome from a lack of emotional fluctuations anymore! Heh : (]
[New discovery: these melodramatic novels can also treat Emotional Withering Syndrome! The theory that novels have healing powers has come true!]
[He's actually a Level One Healer! Oh my god, a Level One Healer is writing novels for me to read!]
[Even so, I still want to send him a knife!]

Upcoming novel, The Little Bunny Farms and Builds in the Beast World:
The protagonist wakes up in a strange world where people can turn into all kinds of animals!
He has become a member of the rabbit tribe. He has no time to adjust: the rabbits are weak and bullied by the surrounding tribes, and winter is coming, but they haven't stored nearly enough food. Half the tribe is expected to starve to death.
The protagonist acts at once, deciding to solve the food shortage first.
Later, the tribe learns how to farm, build houses, and hunt with tools. Their lives flourish.
But the protagonist is always prepared for trouble. Worried that the other tribes will set their sights on the rabbit tribe, a tempting prize, he frets day after day, until he finds a wolf beastman who is badly injured.
The protagonist brings him home and carefully nurses him, hoping to make the other man owe him a favor. But after the wolf beastman recovers, he starts looking at the protagonist strangely.
Only after the protagonist is carried back to the wolf's den, with the other man's cub in his belly, does he finally realize that this guy is a scheming wolf!
Well... the wolf is an incredible fighter, so at least the protagonist doesn't have to worry about his tribe getting bullied anymore.

Upcoming novel, Reborn as the Vicious Widowed Sister-in-Law of the Dragon-Awesome Hero in a Period Novel:
The protagonist is a small-business owner who recently read a period novel. Its dragon-awesome hero isn't noble or righteous at all. He's vindictive and holds a grudge over every little thing. The protagonist stays up all night reading about him putting scumbags in their place and has a great time.
Then he wakes up as the dragon-awesome hero in that period novel's vicious male widowed sister-in-law.
The original character has just married the dragon-awesome hero's older brother, but the brother gets so excited at finally having a wife that he drops dead.
The vicious widowed sister-in-law doesn't care about her new husband's young siblings. He takes all the family's money and runs off with his lover, and, unsurprisingly, the dragon-awesome hero eventually tortures him to death.
Fortunately, when the protagonist transmigrates, the original character hasn't had a chance to run off with the money yet. He can still fix things! Wait, why is he holding all the dragon-awesome hero's family's money, while the young hero stares at him with dark, solemn eyes and a voice cold enough to carve him into a thousand pieces: "What are you going to do?"
The protagonist: ...Listen, I can explain!
--
To avoid a tragic end, the protagonist has to reopen his old shop while supporting the dragon-awesome hero, who dropped out of school at a young age in the original story, and his younger siblings through their studies.
After working until his hands ache, the protagonist acts as if his hand is broken whenever the dragon-awesome hero is around, his expression gentle and steadfast. "I'm fine. As long as I can give you all a good life, even if I'm tired, I'm happy inside."
Haha, little dragon-awesome hero, you're moved to tears, right?
The dragon-awesome hero doesn't cry, but he thoughtfully massages the protagonist's wrist.
The dragon-awesome hero grows more and more obedient by the day, and eventually passes the top imperial examination as hoped. His future is far brighter than in the original novel, so the protagonist feels he can bow out now and start thinking about his own love life.
Hey, at least same-sex marriage is legal in this book. That's a nice perk.
But just as the protagonist happily meets the eight-pack-having, hunky PE teacher someone introduced him to, the dragon-awesome hero appears, his expression dark and the gloom in his eyes almost tangible. He calls the protagonist by name: "You don't want me anymore?"
The protagonist: "..." This isn't right, is it?
Theme: Write the literature that the people love to read
[Afraid] So Lin Jia actually knew that she was going to die, but she still went there just to bring out the truth... I'm a bit admired.
