This novel:
In the interstellar era, humans have grown ever more formidable in battle, and animals are practically berserk.
Jiang Ling missed a step on the stairs. When he woke up, he had arrived in this place.
The future was great in every way. Technology had advanced so much that ordinary people could travel through space. But why had eating meat, something humanity had figured out ages ago, become such a problem?
After craving meat countless times since transmigrating here, Jiang Ling finally decided to start a livestock farm!
Hmm... He'd start by raising cute chickens, ducks, and rabbits!
Interstellar people: You mean the clucking beasts, quacking beasts, and long-eared beasts that are constantly eyeing us and looking for a chance to bite off a chunk of flesh... are cute?
And yet, in Jiang Ling's livestream, inside the shabby enclosure made of broken branches... the thing he called a chicken coop, the clucking beasts were acting like idiots, pecking at feed in a bowl. When they were done, they laid a warm egg right where they stood.
Interstellar people: ? Why don't they fly away from such a low enclosure? And weren't the cooing beasts supposed to be berserk? Why are they all getting along so well?
Jiang Ling: Ever heard of clipping their wings? Oh, some of them are berserk, but they're in my stomach now.
Interstellar people: ...Shivering with fear.
A little scene:
In a livestream devoted to bizarre foods, a brave hunter ambushes a mooing beast and defeats it after a grueling struggle.
The brave hunter picks up a knife. As the first rays of morning sunlight rise, he cuts off a piece of the beast's rump, handles it roughly, and pops it into his mouth. The camera zooms in on his blissful expression. "Friends, this is how you preserve the mooing beast's original flavor as much as possible. Got it?"
Jiang Ling watches the screen fill with gifts: "..."
Jiang Ling had only planned to run a small family farm, but it kept growing until, before he knew it, he owned tens of thousands of acres.
Along with the cows, sheep, and pigs he knew, he even had little velociraptors...
Every day, interstellar people woke up and immediately opened their terminals, trying to claim fresh meat from Jiang Ling's farm as fast as they could.
If they managed to get some, it was enough to keep them happy for a month. And if they could visit the farm stay Jiang Ling had just opened, they were happier still.
--- Blurb for The Cannon Fodder's Inner Gossipy Thoughts in the 80s Are Overheard by the Rugged Villain ---
Tao Yu was spoiled by his family from childhood. Then he read a period novel recommended by his cousin and transmigrated into it.
At the very start, a cannon fodder who shared his name schemed to frame the villain for molesting him, forcing the villain to marry him.
The framed villain hated the cannon fodder to the core. After being forced to marry him, he tormented him every day.
Tao Yu: "? If I remember right, this is a period novel!"
And the cannon fodder is a man!
He couldn't help blasting the author in the comments for not understanding history. Readers piled on hundreds of replies, saying, "It's an original setting, okay?"
Tao Yu was so furious he fainted. When he woke up, he had transmigrated into the book and become its cannon fodder, already married to the villain.
The good news was that he had bound himself to a System.
The bad news was that it was a useless gossip System. Its only function was to let him read gossip now and then, just for fun.
Tao Yu thought he was so miserable. He missed his parents and grandparents. The darn System said that if he stayed alive, he could go home, so he had to get on the villain's good side to avoid being killed by him.
Tao Yu, who had never sucked up to anyone in his life: Heh.
But despite being lazy and doing things halfheartedly, the villain was won over by his personal charm (?). He practically wanted to feed him every bite, fussing over him even more than his parents did!
Tao Yu's life got more and more comfortable. He just felt bad that his villain husband was so poor. Sob...
Lu Jiang married Tao Yu with nothing but disgust. He held a grudge, and Tao Yu had dared to put him beside a vicious wolf. Hah...
When he came back from a trucking job and saw Tao Yu for the first time since their wedding, Tao Yu looked up at him eagerly and called him "hubby." Lu Jiang should have been disgusted, so what was going on? His wife had suddenly become so cute.
This was the wife Heaven had sent him!
But his wife was still living in poverty with him. Lu Jiang thought it was fine if he had to suffer and work hard, but what kind of man would he be if he let his wife suffer too?
What? His wife liked big houses?
Before long, he went from being an admired truck driver to a self-employed businessman, then a construction crew leader... and eventually a real estate tycoon.
At last, his wife had plenty of houses.
But where did his wife want to go? No matter. He could go with him.
A little scene:
The villain's younger sister got a boyfriend.
System: [Listen, I can't even begin to tell you about her boyfriend!]
The protagonist perked up his ears: [What happened? Tell me.]
System: [That guy's two-timing her. He's dating her in public, but privately he's flirting with someone else!]
The protagonist fretted: [Huh? What should we do?]
Not long afterward, the villain's sister's boyfriend was caught flirting with someone else in private, and their letters to each other were uncovered!
The villain's older brother found a high-paying job at a kiln.
System: [Oh, his brother has a terrible time later on.]
The protagonist tensed up: [What happened? What happened?]
System: [That kiln is a black kiln. It collapses before long, leaving his brother permanently disabled!]
The protagonist fretted: [We have to figure out a way to stop that.]
Not long afterward, the illegal kiln was shut down.
After this happened again and again, the protagonist finally realized something was off. He whispered to the System: [Don't you think this is too much of a coincidence?]
Every time they finished talking, the problem got solved!
Beside him, the villain silently picked up his cup and took a sip of water.
--- Blurb for Transmigrating to the Beast World to Build Things ---
The protagonist woke up in a wondrous world where people could turn into all kinds of animals!
He had become a member of the rabbit tribe. There was no time to adjust. The rabbit tribe was weak and bullied by the neighboring tribes, and with a cold snap on the way, they had nowhere near enough food stored. It looked like half the tribe would starve to death.
The protagonist made a snap decision: first, he would solve their food shortage.
Later, the protagonist learned to farm, build houses, and hunt with tools, and life began to flourish.
But he remained wary, afraid other tribes would set their sights on the rabbit tribe as easy pickings. He worried about it every day, until he found a badly injured wolf beastman.
The protagonist brought him home and cared for him attentively, hoping the other man would owe him a favor. But after the wolf beastman recovered, there was something very strange about the way he looked at him.
Only when the protagonist was carried back to his den, with the wolf's cub in his belly, did he finally realize that this guy was a scheming wolf!
Well... this wolf was ridiculously strong, so at least he no longer had to worry about his tribe being bullied.
Theme: Work hard to build a better life.
This author doesn't correct typos, and there are so many typos that it's hard to read. Even if someone catches bugs, they will never change. Can't the author really change it? It's so uncomfortable to read.
There are very few emotional lines, it's basically all about food production
Okay, okay. Although the emotional scene in the middle is a bit sadistic for the sake of being sadistic, this is a food article, so it doesn't go off topic!
Check in, congratulations on the big completion [Fireworks]

I still want to see a dog bite a dog with a hair in his mouth! Why is there no more?
