Xie Tingwan was born with the ability to transfer other people’s injuries and illnesses onto herself.
After being imprisoned, tortured, and killed, she was reborn on the day her ability was discovered. She also gained the power to turn the injuries and illnesses she took on into cultivation.
The more life-threatening the injury, the more cultivation she could gain.
-
Reborn, Xie Tingwan turned her attention to the cultivators who had been forced to give up their cultivation because of grave injuries, and whose lives were hanging by a thread.
They were dazzling talents: some were peerless geniuses rarely seen in a thousand years; some had once been the greatest cultivators in the immortal world; and some were vicious villains driven to cruelty by deadly poison…
No one could heal their wounds or cure their poison.
Everyone had abandoned and forgotten them. All they could do was wait for their inevitable fate.
The people everyone despised and avoided at all costs were now the very supplements Xie Tingwan needed most.
Injuries this severe would be enough to raise her cultivation to the highest level.
But first, she needed to prepare for every possibility:
Carefully test and weigh their character, draw near without giving herself away, and gradually transfer their injuries and illnesses to herself.
Then conceal what she had done, and at just the right moment, reveal the familiar scars covering her body, meridians, and sea of consciousness.
Xie Tingwan understood human nature deeply, and knew even better how to use it.
The cultivation gained from their injuries was hers to claim;
their guilt and gratitude, she intended to accept in full.
This time, she would keep her fate firmly in her own hands.

Pei Wushuang was once the most dazzling genius in the immortal world, adored by all and revered wherever she went.
But no matter how brilliant a genius might be, once they could no longer cultivate, they became nothing but a loathsome burden.
Just as she was ready to give up on herself, a miracle quietly took place.
The injuries that even the priceless treasures she possessed could not heal suddenly vanished without explanation.
Everyone believed it was a miracle bestowed by heaven, until one day Pei Wushuang saw exactly the same wounds on someone’s meridians.
From that day on, she would draw her sword for one person alone, and for that same person alone, she would lay it down.
-
No one knew that the ruthless, merciless Demon Venerable had long been tormented by Nightmare Poison.
This deadly poison could drive a Mahayana cultivator mad, and for centuries, it had never once relented inside Chi Jiuyuan.
Until one day, he slept through the night without a single dream.
…
At some point, a gifted but sickly cultivator named Xie Tingwan appeared in the immortal world.
Seeing her cough every few steps and fall ill every few days, many cultivators could only shake their heads and sigh:
A cultivator with no powerful backing, no matter how talented, would soon be dragged down and killed by such a frail body.
But later, every cultivator saw Xie Tingwan surrounded by countless powerful figures.
When she frowned, the proud young heir of a great clan immediately reined in his temper;
when she coughed, the greatest genius in the immortal world brought her countless spiritual medicines;
when she slept, the mysterious Profound Venerable drew the purest spiritual energy in the world to her;
even the Demon Venerable, rumored to kill without batting an eye, became gentle and approachable in her presence.
Every cultivator who saw this was left astonished.
Much later, they too began praying as earnestly as those powerful figures that Xie Tingwan would live a long and healthy life.

Synopsis:
Gu Mingge transmigrated.
She found herself inside a domineering cultivation novel, as a cannon-fodder female side character with astonishing luck that could only benefit other people.
In the novel,
the cultivation of the senior brother she admired, the male lead Long Aotian, advanced by leaps and bounds, and he stumbled across an opportunity every time he went for a walk;
her respected master’s swordsmanship improved at every turn, until he became the greatest Sword Venerable;
the junior brother she cared for went from an unwanted outcast in his family to its young master;
and the sect she loved flourished, rising to become one of the greatest sects in the immortal world.
But in the end, everyone in the sect began to despise Gu Mingge, convinced that her existence erased all their efforts.
They hated her and looked down on her, and finally watched her die in a rampage of spirit beasts.
Thinking of the female side character’s fate in the original story, Gu Mingge was so disgusted by those people that her teeth ground together.
But her talent was merely average, and her luck could only benefit others. She had no way to escape the sect.
Then she suddenly remembered the puppet that Long Aotian had obtained in the novel, one recognized by the Heavenly Dao.
Her luck might not benefit her, but there was nothing saying it couldn’t benefit a puppet!
If she could get that puppet, she would have a doppelganger who would never betray her.
She could pour all her love into that doppelganger.
That way, he would become the luckiest person in the world.
But before that, she had to make sure everyone knew just how much she “loved” her doppelganger.
-
For some reason, the junior brother, who had always enjoyed smooth sailing, suddenly found himself under attack from his own family.
He instinctively went to Gu Mingge, only to see her frown slightly and look at him with a momentary hint of unfamiliarity.
“Junior Brother, when did the cloud pattern on your clothes change?”
The Sword Venerable knew what Gu Mingge could do, but disliked her capriciousness.
Yet when he punished her, she showed no sign of panic or remorse.
She only looked at him as if she wanted to say something, her voice melancholy:
“Master, your voice has grown so cold.”
And just like her voice, his cultivation had begun to stagnate.
The eldest senior brother had always believed Gu Mingge was deeply in love with him.
But for some reason, he kept encountering fewer and fewer opportunities.
When he went to see Gu Mingge, he heard her say:
“Senior Brother, don’t look at me. I like your profile best.”
The other disciples in the sect also heard Gu Mingge sigh mournfully from time to time:
“Where’s the Cloudfall Tree in the sect? Why is it gone?”
“Wasn’t there supposed to be a spirit pool here?”
-
Everyone in the sect believed Gu Mingge was someone they could control.
She had always loved the sect and respected her elders. Lately, she had only made the occasional bizarre request.
But as time went on, they all began to feel that something was a little off.
Until one day,
when Gu Mingge was in mortal danger, a figure stood tall and free, cutting down ten thousand soldiers with a single sword.
Then this Venerable, so powerful that everyone could only look up to him, carefully drew Gu Mingge into his arms.
Seeing the similarities between the Venerable and the sect, they finally understood:
The entire sect had been a stand-in for the one Gu Mingge loved most.

I hope the author double updates, triple updates, and bursts of updates. I heard that an author published 30,000 words a day, and then won half a million by buying a lottery ticket. [Dog head]
I think this sect leader is very unhappy [holding his chin]
Senior sister is so reliable (snuggle) [please] [please] Hehehe, senior sister,, senior sister,,,
Because Wanwan has seen the distortion and darkness of human nature in her previous life, she firmly believes that only when she is strong and capable can she be confident, instead of blindly asking for things from the other party. Wanwan only believes that favors cannot withstand repeated returns, and she is afraid that the other party will become tired and become a burden to the other party.
Super cool! Fortunately I haven't seen this before
