Until the New World (Mysticism and the Supernatural)

(The story takes place entirely in a fictional world with fantasy elements and has no connection to real-world history or politics. The character illustrations were drawn by the author and are only intended as reference images of the characters in their youth.)

In a cruel society rife with oppression and inequality, high school student Shen Huaishuo and her younger sister Shen Huaijin live in poverty. Then one day, she is unexpectedly chosen by a heavenly book that can imprint supernatural powers and travel through secret history.

She soon gains immense power through the book and begins building an organization of her own, intent on changing this decaying world. But the road to a new world is full of trials and dangers: the Anti-Suppression Bureau, criminal organizations, secret religious groups, mythological monsters, mysterious sects, governments of various countries... One problem after another comes her way. Can our audacious and bold savior overcome crisis after crisis alongside her companions, and keep going until her ideals are fully realized?

Notes:

1. Some inspiration and character designs are drawn from works such as Cultist Simulator and ** Notes.

2. This is not a typical power fantasy. The female lead faces many hardships on her rise, but always manages to overcome them and emerge victorious.

3. This is a story with a carefully planned plot. That means there are no one-dimensional sidekicks who exist only to serve the plot, nor cheap, stereotypical villains. The author promises that all of the protagonist's important companions have their own stories and character growth, and that their reasons for fighting alongside her are compelling. Most antagonists in each story arc are strong-willed and clever, and defeating them requires the protagonist to invest substantial resources and employ excellent strategies.
