The Eastern Sage of the Western Fantasy Continent

Amid the ruins of the Forbidden City, the demon and the enchantress who joined forces to destroy the Great Qian Empire start a game of competing for the spoils, which ends in the enchantress's victory.

Unwilling to accept defeat, the demon then proposes another wager. She offers the enchantress a condition she cannot refuse, but demands that she stake her soul. And so begins the fantastical adventure of an Eastern master of Taoist arts in the land of Westerland.

Notes:

1. The female lead is powerful from the start, but this is not an invincible-lead story. She has lost much of her power and will slowly recover it as the story unfolds. When she encounters major obstacles, she usually has to rely on her wits and hard work to overcome them.

2. Although the story has plenty of face-slapping scenes, the villains aren't too stupid. At worst, they may be foolish for a while, but not forever.

3. The plot structure draws inspiration from British detective series like Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. The protagonist takes on a complicated case for pay or gets caught up in one by chance, then uncovers the truth and finds the mastermind through action and deduction before resolving the matter.

4. This is an open-use work. Readers may use its plot, settings, characters, and other elements as long as they credit the source.

Theme: Purely entertaining wish-fulfillment fiction.
