This Body Is No Evil Spirit

Axiang, a country girl born with a special gift, is sold off after being branded an ill omen and an evil spirit. She later becomes a maid in a remote manor, caring for an old woman named Luo. The old woman teaches her to love others and herself, let go of the anxiety brought on by her status, and finally resolve the knot she has carried in her heart for years.

But cruel fate eventually takes away the only person who ever loved her. Axiang tries to fight back, only to be pierced through by arrows and spears.

As she nears death, a mysterious woman known as Master Maya saves her. The Master tells her that her tragedy did not happen because she was an ill omen, but because of the many forms of oppression and injustice in the world around her. She teaches Axiang to wield her power over cause and effect, along with powerful sorcery and combat skills, and guides her toward devoting her new life to the struggle against oppression...

Axiang nods. From that moment on, she will make the world hear her fury and make every hand that has harmed her pay in blood. She will see through the lies of those in power and vile scoundrels, overturn the society that defines her status as lowly, seize control of her own fate, and keep those she loves from being hurt again.
