Zhou Fuyu has a bad reputation and is known as a delinquent at the affiliated high school.

She's the school's lowest-ranking student, dirt poor, and listed on the disciplinary notice board. Pretty but wild, if other girls are roses with thorns, she's a kapok tree covered in nails.

Qin Jian is her complete opposite.

Just like his name suggests, he's thrifty, upright, and honest. His family is well-off, his grades are excellent, and he's a regular on the honor roll. He's also tall, handsome, and easygoing.

These two famous students would never have crossed paths otherwise.

A car accident kills Zhou Fuyu's no-good father and Qin Jian's awful mother. They die in the same car, caught in each other's arms. The first time Qin Jian stands before the infamous Zhou Fuyu, he is holding the property deed and telling her to pack up and leave.

The house belonged to his mother. It's the property of Qin Jian, her legal heir, but she gave it to her lover, and now Zhou Fuyu is living there.

Until one day, the discipline director, busy enforcing school rules and cracking down on young love, finds a love letter written by Qin Jian, the student he's most proud of.

And it's addressed to Zhou Fuyu, the affiliated high school's number-one she-devil.
