Even the S-class special forces captain, the most powerful person alive, sent him an invitation. "The Federation has approved an arranged match for you, so how about an S-class alien nest?"

1. The story focuses on the plot, but the romance is also a significant part.
2. The top and bottom stay together and never switch roles. Their mutual attraction is overwhelmingly strong, and no other character falls in love with either of them.
3. Among the important characters, confirmed couples include the main pairing, the top's parents, and various middle-aged heroes and villains who have settled down. The younger generation has only the main pairing, with no secondary couples.

Everyone knew that Chu Xingliu, a rising star of the Federation, had publicly challenged Jiang Chengyu, the Federation's top Alpha, in front of the media on the very first day he made his mark as an Omega:
"The waves behind push the ones in front. It's time for the old wave to die on the beach."
The crowd waited for a show, and got one: throughout his four years at university, Chu Xingliu broke every one of Jiang Chengyu's records.
Then, on his first day at work, he gave Jiang Chengyu a thumbs-up, then turned it upside down.
From then on, the two became sworn enemies, able to make each other furious even without meeting. They couldn't stand the sight of one another.
Chu Xingliu called him a hypocrite who acted superior.
Jiang Chengyu thought he was unreliable.
Chu Xingliu mocked him for being backward and conservative, not like an Alpha at all.
Jiang Chengyu scorned him as reckless and impulsive, even more aggressive than an Alpha.
They fought side by side on the battlefield, then went their separate ways as soon as they left it. Even one glance at the other was bad luck.
Aside from having their ruts on the same day, their personalities, positions, and values had nothing in common. They never saw eye to eye on anything.

Until one day, Chu Xingliu, a firm believer in staying single, was forced to visit the Match Compatibility Activation Center.
The results showed that the person with a 100% match was none other than Jiang Chengyu, his sworn enemy, who had never had a match above 70% and whom he'd mocked as universally disliked.
That day, the Federation's rising star Chu Xingliu was so furious he smashed up the Activation Center, then threw down a stack of bills for repairs, research, and medical care.
"I've been incompatible with that old dog Jiang since birth. You got a 100% match? Fix the machine or fix your brains. Pick one."

The two people the Federation agreed couldn't stand each other failed to reconcile under the influence of their high compatibility. Instead, its side effects gave them a new way to fight.
At a tactical conference, Jiang Chengyu was speaking confidently on stage when his waist and the back of his neck suddenly started itching and tingling.
During a public lecture, Chu Xingliu was demonstrating combat techniques to his admirers when his right leg nearly buckled as he kicked.
The two ran into each other during their ruts and started arguing. Jiang Chengyu gripped the hot back of his neck, grinding his teeth, while Chu Xingliu pressed his dry upper palate and fumed.
From then on, they took a crooked path and went further and further astray, until
Chu Xingliu grabbed him by the throat, murderous. "You old dog Jiang, stir up anyone else to vote down my proposal, and I'll make you pay!"
Jiang Chengyu grabbed the back of his neck and smiled falsely. "If you gather people to sabotage my plans again, I'll do it again next time. And I'll say it once more: who's making who pay?"
