Don't Move! It's Black Cat Chief!

A Cat's Diary of Human Observation

Humans are strange creatures.

Humans are stupid.

They go out hunting for food every day, but they don't always come back with prey. They need Mimi to take care of them, too.

Mimi: sighs

Humans are fun.

Whenever they see a kitty, they can't walk past. They crouch down, reach out, and make "meow, meow" sounds to lure Mimi over.

Mimi: raises head haughtily

Humans are contradictory.

Matsuda the two-legged human always says, "Mimi, don't chew on my sunglasses case." But the way he waves the shiny case around is clearly an invitation to Mimi!

Mimi: pounces and bites

Humans are warm.

When Furuya the two-legged human comes home smelling of gunpowder, he always buries his face in Mimi's belly and takes a deep breath. His blond hair does tickle Mimi a little... but Mimi will let it slide in exchange for the fancy canned food he brought home.

Mimi: reluctantly flops over to show her belly

Humans are sneaky.

Morofushi the two-legged human used salmon to trick Mimi into the pet hospital, but then that person in a white coat dared touch Mimi's tail!

Mimi: displeased

Mimi is suddenly grabbed by the scruff.

"You little rascal, what are you writing on the computer now? That's my case file... Hey! How many times have I told you not to sharpen your claws on my tie!"

Back in their police academy days, the five friends found an abandoned cardboard box in an alley. A faint meowing came from inside.

That was how the five of them first met Mimi.

But none of them had any idea that having a cat would be so... very...

Mimi is clever. She can open doors by herself, and then...

The five of them searched for Mimi all day. Heartbroken, they returned home thinking she had run away.

Hiro found Mimi inside Matsuda's black vest.

During their undercover days, Hiro and Rei were on edge when they found Mimi inside Gin's hat.

Rei: eyes wide in shock

From then on, the Organization was swept up in a cat-cuddling craze.

Rei: Get lost! She's my cat!

A certain FBI agent noticed Mimi really liked his knitted hat.

Akai: seduction

Mimi: takes the bait

Rei: Get lost, you damn FBI agent!

Mimi is a tuxedo cat. If you know, you know.

Mimi is a good cat. Mimi will knock everyone's boxed lunch onto the floor.
