Scotland Adopted a Coal-Dusted Cat

[Complete. The full story costs only 0.92 RMB. Please support the official version on Jinjiang.] [Blurb] Scotland: a low-key, dependable sniper in the Organization. He may keep a low profile, but his cat certainly doesn’t. The codename members who have worked with him all say the same thing: Scotland is easy to get along with, but his cat isn’t. Scotland disagrees. “What’s wrong with my cat? He’s great. He even makes me three dishes and a soup in the middle of the night!” The others in the Organization: “…He must be hallucinating about his cat making him dinner because he’s so busy with missions that he’s starving himself unconscious.” Rye: “You do know your cat poisoned me, right?” Bourbon: an intelligence expert in the Organization who’s even more low-key than Scotland. He’s so low-key that no one has even seen what he looks like. Some say he’s built like a gorilla, while others say he moves like a leopard. Scotland: “How does that even sound human?” Then, while working with Scotland one day, Bourbon accidentally revealed his true identity. Scotland: “…That familiar blond fur, those familiar purple-gray droopy eyes, that familiar little black face… Isn’t that the coal-digging cat who made me three dishes and a soup last night?” Also known as *Furuya Says He’s Done Being Human* (not really). [Reader’s Guide] 1. Zero × Hiro, both undercover as members of the Organization. Zero’s true form is a huge Siamese cat. He can freely switch between human and cat forms, so don’t worry. 2. There will be a few mentions of Hagi × Matsu, but not many. The Organization members will be put through the wringer, especially Akai. 3. A cute, light 90,000-character novella. Please don’t think too hard while reading. A preview of *Hiro Says He’s Done Being Human* Blurb 1: One second before the bullet entered his heart, Hiro’s soul flashed from the rooftop back to his time at the police academy, where he saw his four classmates alive and well. But before he could celebrate for long, he discovered that sometimes he couldn’t be human. Sometimes he became Matsuda’s sunglasses. Sometimes he became Hagiwara’s phone. Sometimes he became Date’s toothpick. Sometimes he became… Furuya’s parted bangs. At first, Hiro felt very awkward about it. After a while, Hiro: “…Wow. Your secrets are all fascinating in their own way.” After joining the Organization. Scotland’s inability to stay human even started affecting his colleagues in the Organization. Sometimes he became Gin’s Porsche. Sometimes he became Vermouth’s wineglass. Sometimes he became Rye’s knit cap. Sometimes he became… Bourbon’s parted bangs. At first, Scotland: “Great, now I can use this chance to gather information about the Organization.” After a while, Scotland: “…Your tangled love lives haven’t spared me either.” Blurb 2: To protect everyone’s worldview, Hiro tried to remain completely still and lifeless whenever he wasn’t human. Luckily, after years as a sniper, he had plenty of patience. Until Hagiwara: “Wait, why is my phone typing by itself, telling me to hurry up and defuse the bomb?” Matsuda: “Nobody told me my sunglasses could tap out Morse code to tell me where the next bomb is.” Date: “Why did the toothpick in my mouth suddenly jab me hard enough to draw blood while I was walking down the street?” Furuya: “…Why are my bangs moving on their own just as I’m trying to decide whether to confess to Hiro?” [Reader’s Guide] 1. Zero × Hiro, with Hagi × Matsu as a secondary pairing, though they won’t feature much. 2. The story is all about weird, quirky salvation. Theme: Ordinary life holds warmth, and love gives people the courage to act.
