The Reborn Crown Prince of the Ming Dynasty's Daily Life

Four-year-old Zhu Zairui was just named crown prince by the Jiajing Emperor yesterday. When he wakes up from a nap, he has transmigrated twenty years into the future.

His father, who has always been so cold toward him, suddenly takes him under his wing. Zhu Zairui doesn’t understand why, but he’s happy all the same, and carries his toys into the Jiajing Emperor’s bedchamber.

Crown Prince Zhuangjing, Zhu Zairui, was a brilliant child, named crown prince at four, but died suddenly of illness at fourteen. Ten years after his death, he reappears in the world in the body of a four-year-old.

By now, Yan Song has immense power and wants to make Prince Jing the crown prince.

Xu Jie, Gao Gong, Zhang Juzheng, and others lie low while grooming Prince Yu, hoping to bring Yan Song down.

Just as Prince Jing and Prince Yu vie for the position of heir and the court grows tense, the Jiajing Emperor suddenly announces that the Ming already has a crown prince.

Zhu Zairui peeks out. “Does everyone still remember me?”

Yan Song, once hated by Zhu Zairui: “?” Is this cheating?

Xu Jie, once Zhu Zairui’s teacher: “Heh!” Does this count as winning without lifting a finger?

Zhang Juzheng, a student of Xu Jie: “Uh...” You can win like this?

Twenty-three-year-old Prince Yu stares blankly at the four-year-old before him. “Hello, Second Brother.”

Zhu Zairui pats his head. “Good boy.”

Twenty-two-year-old Prince Jing looks at the four-year-old before him and stammers, “Hello, Second Brother.”

Zhu Zairui taps his head. “You’re a naughty boy.”
