She looks up.

Her seventeen-year-old eldest brother, Kane, will grow up to be a raging Demon King, run through the heart by the protagonist's sword. Right now, he's snapping his wand in two to vent his anger, while the aura of black magic makes the house-elves tremble.

Her sixteen-year-old second sister, Cecelina, will become a genius Frost Witch, sealed away in the future. Right now, she's carving a skull out of ice, while the cold at her fingertips fogs the crystal chandelier.

And thirteen-year-old Mia is the only Muggle in the family, the one who can't use magic. She will eventually die in a battle waged by the Holy Knights against her family's dark magic.

The book says that after her death, her brother and sister will go completely mad, launch a war that bathes the magical world in blood, and ultimately be wiped out by the righteous protagonists working together.

Mia: QAQ I've transmigrated into a book, can't I at least live a little longer?!

What she doesn't know is that her brother and sister can clearly hear her thoughts.

One day, the "Child of Light," the protagonist who saves the world in the original book, suddenly shows up.

Mia (eyes wide with shock): This is bad, this is bad! It's the male protagonist from the book! Why is he here? Wasn't he supposed to come cut down my brother and sister ten years from now?

Kane looks wary, while frost swirls around Cecelina's fingertips.

The silver-haired boy across from them gleams with a cold light. His voice is clear and cool. "My little sister trespassed in a restricted area the other day. I came to thank Master Kane for saving her."

Mia (screaming internally): Wow, his eyes are pale gold! What an impossibly handsome boy!

Kane rolls his eyes, and Cecelina turns and walks away.

The boy looks slightly startled. "Did... someone just speak?"

Later...

Kane, the raging eldest brother, is at a loss in front of a frail, crying little witch. "Stop crying. I'll stand here and let you hit me, okay?"

Cecelina, the coldhearted second sister, looks at the haughty knight as he takes a curse for her. Her eyes redden as she sneers, "Idiot. Was it worth dying for your nemesis?"

And Mia, thinking she's painstakingly managed to survive until adulthood, watches as the cool, aloof protagonist who was supposed to kill her whole family hands her a rose kissed with morning dew.
