I Just Want to Tell You

You are someone I hate.

You are my closest friend.

You did something that hurt me.

And I have always been hurting you, deep down, too.

We hurt each other and rely on each other, but in the end, like most friends in this world, we drifted further and further apart.

Insecurity. Jealousy. Vanity.

Because we were such close friends, we knew each other too well. Because I couldn't bear to be the only one unhappy, I couldn't stand seeing you excel, seeing you happy, seeing you proud, seeing you content.

But when you were truly sad, I was even more upset than you.

When I thought about leaving this place, the first person who came to mind was you.

Hey, Yicai. Right now, there's only one thing I want to say to you...
