His snake tail coiled around the living room as he swung on my swing, the tip swishing like a puppy's.
As soon as I walked in, he looked over with cool, detached eyes. After a moment's hesitation, the tip of his tail curled into a little loop and shyly tapped the back of my hand.
He still wasn't used to his human form. Awkward and a little bashful, he said with restraint, "...Welcome home."
Because I'd told the little snake demon staying at my place to say, "Welcome home, Master."
A snake demon fresh to the human world didn't know any better. I coaxed him into it, and he obediently did as I said.
Still, I'm a kind person. I had absolutely no interest in taking advantage of him... Actually, that's not entirely true.
At the very least, his tail was lovely to touch, smooth and cool.
It was just that after I touched it, he got a little... flustered.

I didn't kiss him, but he hugged me and kissed me instead, one kiss on the left, another on the right, smacking my cheeks again and again.
I sighed. It was no good once the little snake demon had figured things out. He'd fall in love with a human and end up heartbroken.
"All right, all right. You have no idea what you're doing. I'll teach you, I'll teach you."
He looked forward to it.
I only kissed his forehead, gentle and restrained.
"There."
He copied me, gently kissing my forehead.
"I learned."
