Told to Spend the Night with the Emperor Before Leaving the Palace

On the eve of her departure from the palace, she was told that the young emperor had summoned her to his bedchamber.

Everyone knew that this emperor, far too young for the throne, had never been with anyone.

The heroine: ...This makes me feel even more conflicted.

Why didn't he choose a younger palace maid? Why did he pick her, when she's so much older than him?

She's almost ten years older than he is.

● A few notes ●

● A young emperor x a voluptuous heroine. Here for a voluptuous heroine? There's barely any plot, and the whole thing is probably just sweet everyday affection. It should count as an age-gap romance with a younger man.

● The heroine has no big ambitions. She's a contented couch potato who just wants to stay in her own corner. Don't expect her to get fired up; it won't happen. This is a simple everyday romance. Don't ask why the hero likes her or what makes her special. Can't there just be no reason? Why does love need a reason? It doesn't have to make sense.

● This is just how my writing is, and this is the level of my prose. Don't expect it to improve as the story goes on. What you see at the beginning is what you'll get all the way through.
