My Amnesiac Brother Wants to Make Me His Third

On the fifth anniversary of her marriage to her husband, Cheng Yan, Cheng Qian hears that he was in an accident overseas while negotiating a deal. Everyone is frantic, but a year of searching turns up nothing.

Then she dreams that, in the original story, her husband accidentally fell into the sea and was rescued by the heroine.

Having lost all his memories, he develops feelings for the heroine, who cares for him, and she develops a vague affection for him too.

Unfortunately, later in the story, he's found and learns that he already has a wife. He can only bury his feelings, and after the heroine gets her heart broken, she meets the hero, who's been secretly in love with her all along. They get their happy ending.

The story says he has no special feelings for his wife. He's only tied to her by the duty of their arranged marriage.

He won't divorce her, but will keep the heroine in his heart forever.

Cheng Qian: ?

Who was it that cried in secret at night, afraid his wife would leave? Who was it that said he couldn't live without his wife?

Whatever. Never mind the rest. I should find him first.

At last, the day arrives when she finds her husband. Cheng Qian gets out of the car and learns where he's renting a place. She hasn't even knocked on the door yet.

The person hanging laundry in the yard sees her and freezes. His whole face says, "This is the woman I'm going to marry!" He's smitten.

Cheng Qian can't bear to look.

He asks if she's married. When he learns she is, the light in his eyes dims. Like an unhappy big dog, he sneaks glances at her, afraid to get too close.

Cheng Yan also learns that he's the brother of the woman he loves, and his heart shatters into pieces.

...He actually has indecent feelings for his own younger sister!

Back at the wealthy Cheng household, he takes over his job as usual. At night, he keeps dreaming about his younger sister, including kisses and other unmentionable scenes. He can't take it anymore.

He thinks: I can secretly be her lover. I just have to make sure her husband never finds out.

Cheng Yan finally comes to his senses.

When Cheng Qian learns the truth later, she says, "..." No wonder he's been acting so strangely lately.
