The Fool I Found by the Roadside Ran Away

[A prodigal top who turns over a new leaf x a bottom who knows nothing about love]

Blurb One: Meng Zhimu was a notorious playboy in Jizhou, but this time he fell hard for a fool. He gave up his wild ways for the fool and devoted himself heart and soul, only for the fool to be lured away by a few words from someone else.

Blurb Two: Wu Jie was kicked out of his home by his own older sister again. She told him not to come back unless someone had left him with nothing but his pants. With nowhere else to go, Wu Jie had to head to the capital and seek help from his cousin. As luck would have it, Wu Jie got lost. Fortunately, a kind young gentleman offered him a place to stay. The gentleman was going to the capital too? That was wonderful.

Content warnings: 1. Neither lead is a virgin.

2. Both the top and the bottom suffer.

3. I rarely write from the top's point of view, but this time I thought it would be interesting to understand Wu Jie through someone else's eyes.

Coming soon: The Tangerine Saves the Crown Prince

Prince Jiang Nan had enjoyed a charmed life ever since he was born. If nothing unexpected happened, he would inherit the throne of Chu, and under his rule the country would enjoy good weather, peace, and prosperity.

But the unexpected still happened. When Jiang Nan was fifteen, the gods sent a heavenly punishment down upon the mortal world. The people offered sacrifices and prayers, but to no avail.

Jiang Nan selected people of merit and ability from among the people, hoping they could replace the self-righteous gods.

But Jiang Nan failed. Some of those he had selected betrayed him and sided with the gods, while others died at the gods' hands.

For the sake of the people still suffering in dire straits, Jiang Nan chose to become a demon.

A demon was still a demon. For thousands of years, people had vied to cultivate as immortals, but no one had ever vied to become a demon.

Jiang Nan lost control. He personally killed the people who had supported and stood by him. By the time he woke up, it was too late.

Jiang Nan gave up. After everything he had done, it had all been for nothing.

He willingly let the gods seal him away. How he wished there were someone who could stay by his side forever, someone he could rely on.

And so, Zhou Xi was born.
