My Dad Is an Apocalypse-Level Calamity

Xun Qing found a person in the contaminated zone.

There was no identity number on record, no name, and no memories. They were probably someone who had gone missing in a disaster several decades ago.

They were also exceptionally frail, easy to fool, and completely lacking in survival skills.

Wherever Xun Qing went, they followed.

Xun Qing decided to take them in.

There was a small mishap while handling the paperwork, and he went from being their guardian to the one under their care.

But it was fine. According to the regulations, from then on, this person was his to raise. OVO!

By day, he went to school and worked part-time. At night, he went home to tutor his brand-new parent. Xun Qing's life was peaceful and fulfilling.

Until one day, the Anomaly Monitoring Bureau suddenly summoned him for a meeting.

They told Xun Qing that among the anomalies, there was an exceptionally unusual class of beings known as Calamities.

They were concepts made manifest, rules given form, and beings infinitely close to what ordinary people called gods.

And Xun Qing's adoptive father was one of the world-ending Calamities feared by other species, whose very name made them turn pale.

The silent Lord of the End.

Xun Qing: .

Xun Qing didn't believe it.

However he looked at it, his clumsy, clueless, frail, harmless, beautiful dad couldn't possibly be a Calamity!

Bad news: The Anomaly Bureau was right.

Even worse news: Dad was actually his biological father, who'd come looking for him himself.

...He wasn't human either _(:з"∠)_

*

Another thing: Zhou Liu, his newly minted boyfriend, wasn't human either.

1. A sweet little story about a pair of father and son who each think they're raising the other. The protagonist thinks he's raising his dad, while Dad thinks he's taking care of the protagonist, but in reality the protagonist is the one taking care of Dad.

2. The pairing is Zhou Liu. The love interest shows up fairly late (.)

Theme: Understanding is the bridge to communication
