Welcome to the Monster Café

[My favorite CP (fictional characters) has completely gone BE, and I can't get over it. I can't write anything sweet, so updates will be slower for a while. Sorry QWQ]

On the first day back in the country, Ye Lingge received a will from a distant great-uncle.

As the man's only heir, he would inherit an estate valued at 99.99 million yuan.

A coffee shop in the old town.

Standing in the middle of an empty alley, Ye Lingge suddenly remembered that he didn't have a distant great-uncle.

He decided to call the police.

But the second the hotline connected...

A silver dragon crawled out through the wall, struggling to flap its wings, then smacked onto the ground with a thud.

Ye Lingge: .

According to urban legends, there is a mysterious coffee shop visible only to certain people.

Merfolk, dragons, fairies, hellhounds...

Every employee at the coffee shop is a creature at the top of the food chain. The owner is even more unfathomable, and is suspected to be a notorious demon lord.

Pure-blooded human Ye Lingge: ...?

The unassuming employee who keeps a low profile while taking all the credit: ^^

Silver dragons are basically cats.

Cerberus is like a dog.

Unicorns are natural germophobes.

Sirens have an Oedipus complex.

And then there's the incubus, who just coasts through life and takes pride in being the owner's pretty boy.

On his Nth day as the coffee shop's owner...

Ye Lingge expertly calmed down the hellhound, broke up a fight between the silver dragons, and asked a centaur to help clean up the mess, all while remembering to berate the siren for deliberately stirring up trouble.

The incubus, who always disappeared around mealtimes, suddenly sidled over with a mysterious smile.

"Looks like you've completely figured out their habits."

"Time for a question."

"What does an incubus eat?"

Ye Lingge refused to answer and chose to let the dog loose.

■■■■Reader's Guide■■■■

1. The former demon lord, now a pretty-boy employee and scummy incubus gong, who keeps fooling the owner every day X a wealthy human shou with a bit of a thick skull, who keeps falling for it and has maxed-out approachability.

2. An ordinary, everyday tale of running a shop and picking up little ones, a sweet little story with a dash of bickering-enemies (?).

3. The incubus is basically an incubus who keeps himself chaste, pure and unsullied. He used to be a demon lord, and is now a famous thought criminal x. Hope everyone comes and enjoys Incubus 1. Incubus 1 is good civilization!!!!!!

Theme: "When we are loved, we become better."
