An old idea I had, putting it up here for now
After being bound to the Protagonist Growth System, Xin Ci was sent to a future world controlled by corporations and the Federation.
In this world, the protagonists belong to the Federation faction. They are destined to destroy the corporation's conspiracy and save the world.
System: Your mission is to ensure the protagonist's safety at critical moments and help the protagonist team complete the main storyline of destroying the corporation's conspiracy.
Xin Ci: Got it. I'm a walking cheat code.

From then on, Xin Ci took on one more duty. He was not only the organization's loyal henchman, but also the lover of the unseen leader who ruled the Central City with an iron fist.
A year later, during a mission, Xin Ci pointed his weapon at the leader he had sworn loyalty to. While his colleagues watched in shock, Xin Ci calmly called in the Federation police he had arranged to lie in wait at the mission site, carrying out the arrest, then shot the leader without hesitation.
Three years after graduation, Xin Ci had personally shot and killed his lover, the corporation's leader who controlled half the Federation. The whole world was in an uproar.

Xin Ci figured he might as well live like a lazy loafer. The next day, he packed up and fled the Federation's Central City for a small city on the frontier.
He became a respectable teacher in the frontier town and lived quietly for several years, until the day a former classmate found him.

The man Xin Ci had killed with his own hands was not dead.
