Wen Xu didn’t have much education and had a gentle, mild-mannered personality. His greatest strengths were his kindness and thoughtfulness, and how much he loved taking care of others.
For the first twenty-five years of his life, he was constantly bullied. Then he met Chen Shulin, a genius researcher five years his junior.
After they married, Wen Xu lived a happy, fulfilling life, staying home to take care of his husband, who was still in school.
But after his husband joined a biology research project and went up into the mountains, he came back changed.
He no longer wanted to be close to Wen Xu, wouldn’t let him near, and stopped sharing a bed with him.
Wen Xu panicked, unable to understand what he had done wrong. He assumed his husband had stopped loving him because he had lost his looks, so he clumsily began dressing up and tried twice as hard to please him.

Chen Shulin went up into the mountains and discovered the secret of human evolution.
He was no longer human.
He wanted to devour everyone who came near Wen Xu.

2. A true homemaker gong who loves caring for others, has a giving nature, and is very accepting. Before being parasitized, the shou was somewhat domineering; afterward, he became even more inhuman, with no sense of right or wrong.
